  1. to be fair to kyle he's always been a ****** postseason hitter
  2. pivetta is spotting up but some pretty bad chase going on here
  3. nick pivetta? the guy that kissed charles barkley on the lips?
  4. tons of places around petco to find that. rosie o'grady's in Normal Heights is the best chicago bar in san diego and would be a 10ish minute uber from downtown.
  5. feeling pretty decent about the packers trading multiple first round picks to hand a top of the market contract to parsons rn
  6. holy hell the bye at 2-2 when we need a bunch of bodies back looks beautiful
  7. Jesus we have to run the most gimmick run of all time to get six yards and it’s offensive face mask on the ball carrier
  8. if ben gets out adjusted at halftime here I’ll be sad very winnable game
  9. only way we win this game is the quick passing game it seems and play defense even the gimmick runs are getting destroyed
  10. kmet horsefeathered that drive up but following up with a zone read against Crosby who has the snap count time up to a nanosecond idk man
  11. can’t have carries for negative five yards
  12. gordon is inactive dude is pretty worthless
  13. most of these guys aren't edge rushers, QBs, corners, or OTs like you said are more valuable than RBs. almost all of them have higher cap hits than barkley does. some of them have injury histories that are worse than barkley (chubb, derwin james) and none of them have been as important to a super bowl winning team as barkley was last year (vea comes closest). whether a highly paid running back is still with the team that drafted him is a distinction without a difference. good offenses put resources into running backs. edit: also in a redraft scenario, the only thing that someone would care about is what production they are able to put on the field for the very next season and for how long they can maintain a similar level of production. how their career actually played out has nothing to do with anything.
  14. yes, and they were all given top or near top of the market contracts and most of those offenses are at least good (some historicallly good). good offenses don't really correlate with cycling through a bunch of mid round draft picks at RB which is what people tend to think is happening. point of fact, barkley, jacobs, and mccaffrey's former teams are now terrible offenses.
  15. ward (who isn't even a good CB), roquan (an off ball linebacker), nelson, and fitzpatrick ain't getting drafted higher than barkley on most boards in a redraft. you're taking a truism (you shouldn't draft an RB very high) to a logical extreme that isn't born out by what good offenses actually do. lot of good offenses and teams making deep playoff runs here
  16. there are definitely not five QBs in the nfl that can make this one
  17. I don’t know that eberflus beat BJ on more than a couple calls all game Caleb played great but he left some yards out there he cleans up even some of that and the offense should be high level all year long
  18. I know we would all love to get the run game going butI think we need to keep attacking the cowboys are going to score in the second half dial up the all truck play offense
  19. this could end up like that cowboys game a few years ago where Justin made some crazy ass plays to maintain the illusion we were in it and we ended up getting blown out
  20. we are completely overmatched in every phase of the game by a good team (which Vikings and lions both are). Caleb was adequate I guess but who really knows when you get manhandled so badly? a five win team with two healthy rookie scratches from 2nd round picks plus burden and Loveland being invisible is a huge indictment on the roster construction we are very far from being competitive in games that matter
