  1. Besides Lonzo, at one point in their Bulls tenure everyone the Bulls traded was worth at least a (protected) first rounder
  2. i think all the other FOs are in a group chat talking about how no one is allowed to trade the bulls a first round pick
  3. klint kubiak has a better feel for how to salt a game away in the 4 minute driller than any play calller in the nfl
  4. Flores out of the NFCN next please
  5. I think the skill group probably ends up looking a lot different than conventional wisdom thinks Lions did that Gibbs/Laporta draft when everyone screamed defense they kicked Thuney to LT, etc. Ben’s a weirdo
  6. it's kind of funny, no one is talking about whether the bears should've gone for 2 at the end of regulation. because the emotion of the play was so crazy. but if we score a "normal" TD there and don't go for 2, and the game plays out more or less the same way i bet we'd be talking about it a lot more.
  7. i don't think anyone thinks trapilo is going to be 100% or anywhere close to it next year though
  8. if brisker and gordon are gonna play that kind of ball and can stay on the field, you can definitely feel more comfortable about trading up IMO
  9. finding the right equilibrium between free lancing and playing within structure is the whole thing. if caleb had kyler murray's head he probably runs for 80-100+ yards today and maybe we win but then you stretch that out for a whole season and he's probably getting hurt all the time or missing shots in the pass game.
  10. ben needs to understand the texture of the game better, you're not getting fresh leg efforts from any WR at that point in the game, in these conditions. you've got the upper hand, call a run, a higher percentage pass play, or something with a more obvious scramble option for caleb with that game situation.
  11. the angles going around of the DJ play, it's not great effort or anything close to it. but it's not the worst thing i've ever seen 80+ offensive snaps into a game in sub freezing temperatures after a trip to the medical tent.
  12. I don't think BJ trusts Caleb enough to sit and win from the pocket with the quick passing game down after down, seems like GB and the Rams were sitting in that 2 high shell and we kept trying to spam the Big Chunk Pass play button.
  13. oh well, pretty good season. the window should be open for awhile if they're smart. get a couple pieces on defense, figure out LT, and another offseason to get some more consistency for caleb.
  14. I'm assuming DJ was sub concussed if not fully concussed. it's so weird he'll make some of the toughest tough guy plays you'll see and then loaf it on other plays in the same game.
  15. i guess we're probably at a point that if we score a TD we go for two
  16. i really wish we had a lead blocker on some of these short yardage runs lol
  17. ben doesn't know what to do in short yardage in a neutral state apparently, no shot plays, no trickery, no window dressing on any of these downs
  18. can't run for a 1.5 yard loss on 3rd and 1
  19. i just find it weird we basically have no QB designed runs ever in the game plan it's good for health/longevity but with guys crashing down and caleb's legs/ball handling those should be chain movers and a weapon around the goal line. oh well, nice not to be in a huge hole at half time.
  20. https://www.reddit.com/r/chicagobulls/comments/1qb8b41/silvy_calls_out_chuck_swirsky_on_air_chuck_is_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button lmao silvy went thermonuclear on chuck swirsky
  21. hindsight is 20/20 but I liked Ben going forth TD “early” on the final drive from a game theory standpoint, a couple of other times this season we lost momentum in similar situations by trying to bleed every second
  22. i can’t believe last night actually happened lmao
  23. i'm still bandwagoning the idea that we need to throw to get a lead and run to salt it away, our run game has been dog horsefeathers for a month
