Can you imagine a less likable 3 guard rotation than Kirk, Pargo, and Flip? [expletive] Vinny, Flip has had years to establish himself as an atrocious basketball player. Just play Law. Oh well. James Johnson went full [expletive] mode in the last couple minutes but at least he showed some things.

I admit that believing the Bulls are skirting the line of how bad a team can be before it starts to diminish their free agency aspirations, even very slightly, is a controversial opinion on NSBB.

And if you actually read the article it makes zero reference to whether the Bulls' attractiveness to free agents has been diminished by their string of crappy play relative to where they would be if they had continued to be decent and healthy. And that's all my point was anyway. The article is framed as a sliver of hope amidst a stretch of horrific basketball but Dirk isn't answering the question directly.

I'm pretty flabbergasted that anyone would think Dirk's comment means absolutely anything. They could've asked him the same thing about the Clippers, Knicks, or Nets and he's answer similarly. He's PR programmed not to make waves. I could be wrong, and I hope I am, but the idea that Dirk's answer is meaningful is laughable.

I doubt Dirk is thinking that far ahead when an interview comes up but he knows Lebron teaming up with Wade/Bosh is basically lights out for the rest of the league while one of those guys (even James) going to Chicago doesn't really change much.

The pick is between Jerry Hughes and Corey Wootton. Wootton is bigger and Hughes is probably more of a 3-4 OLB but I like his pass rushing potential, even if he is small. The pick is Jerry Hughes.

West Virginia defends like crazy and sometimes (often?) can't put the ball in the hoop. They're kinda like the UCLA teams under Howland (when they were making Final 4s). Lots of talent but they win ugly and can't score for some reason.

I haven't taken a close look yet but my gut reaction was that there will be more upsets from the 11-13ish seeds this year. And I wouldn't be worried about having a chalky final 4 too much. 10 of the last 20 Final 4 teams have been #1 seeds and only 2 I think were from outside the top 4.
