  1. Isn't being able to put traffic in front of the net consistently something skilled teams do? I've watched enough hockey recently to realize that those deflections are at least partly skill. Since I've started following (a bit) I've come to appreciate the ability to deliberately direct a puck in the air with a stick. It's impressive.
  2. There's never been a pitcher who was so good at missing bats that had such a hard time missing bats. He puts up some wacky lines, that's for sure. i was just kidding, gameday was wrong about him getting out of the inning. he issued two more walks and was taken out. his final line was 3.2 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 8 K, 1 HBP, 90 pitches/52 strikes. that's one bad thing about harden, he's so tough to hit and his control is always marginal, so his pitch count is always going to be high and that leads to a taxed bullpen. that and he gets hurt all the time. I think he gets fouled off more than most pitchers. Does anyone keep that stat?

  4. Did you miss the bad call at first that sparked the 2 runs last inning? Or the ball that Prado missed that was inexplicably ruled a hit instead of an error just before Glaus doubled Ramirez off?
  5. I think a healthy Bulls team could give the Cavs a frisky 5 or even 6 game series. They'd be motivated at least unlike the beyond washed up Detroit team that got destroyed by Cleveland last year.
  6. 51 points through 3 quarters :| And Bosh got taken to the hospital after being elbowed in the head.
  7. Is that the biggest "almost" since the Titans/Rams Super Bowl? Bigger. That "only" would've sent the game into OT (assuming the Titans went for the PAT). I'm thinking...there's never been a moment like that in the history of American sports. Chalmers making the 3 against Memphis was just as do or die but it was only to tie the game and it wasn't a half court buzzer beater. The Ice Bowl comes to mind. Yeah but that was a QB sneak. If you combine the Flutie Hail Mary with the stakes of the Ice Bowl then you'd have something equivalent to that shot if it had went in (ignoring that football is much more popular than college hoops).

  9. Biggest shot ever I think.
  10. Biggest [expletive] blue balls ever.
  11. Best title game I've ever seen for the first 39 and a half minutes.
  12. Butler is going to have to make some no conscience threes to win this I think. Duke's grinding them down.
  13. You say that as if Duke won't have 2 or 3 all new white guys that will be reviled.
  14. Well actually they don't.
  15. I mean that was clearly a foul on Howard. They're all clearly fouls. I suggest you rewind the DVR before making knee jerk reactions to ref decisions. It wasn't even bordering on a close call against Howard.
  16. I mean that was clearly a foul on Howard.
  17. I really don't see all this stuff you guys are whining about. The games not being called that closely...Zoubek is getting rebounds because he's bigger and stronger than anyone on the floor.
  18. I'm not really that outraged by the officiating.
  19. Z can take some comfort knowing his ERA is half of Shark's.
  20. wow, dude, you're a real piece of work [expletive] you But you're the centerpiece of the cosmic conspiracy to punish Chicago sports fans. I think it's pretty selfish of you to continue punishing us when the obvious solution is in place.
