it's just lack of patience. We did get a nice chance out of a Bradley long ball before Slovenia scored their second, though I just thought it was kind of weird that we kept going for a hail mary when Slovenia would immediately get the ball back and start applying the pressure again (prior to the 1st goal).

Also, doesn't it seem kind of dumb to keep going for the long ball from our own half when our best players are Donovan and Dempsey. We can't win balls in the air for crap either.

Ian Darke kept raving about how we were turning the heat up and made it seem like we had the momentum. Except you miss those chances and you get demoralized.

Athletically yeah. The idea of him looking at a defensive end and making the right decision is kinda scary though.

I thought they were decent but I think Briggs, Urlacher, Pisa starting with the depth developed last year could be the best linebacking corps out of all the 4-3 defenses...especially if Tommie is motivated. Anyway, I was thinking about that SI article earlier and was wondering how Martz is going to incorporate wildcat stuff. He loves his gadgets. Taylor did some wildcat stuff didn't he or was that exclusively Harvin?

So the Sixers would give up a shot at a potential franchise player just to get rid of Brand's deal? Although Turner and Igoudala is kind of redundant and I think Turner's more of a 2nd banana.

I think the sentiment was that Germany v. Serbia was pretty much a wash. It's the potential quarterfinal game that's a huge difference. What about all the yellows picked up setting possible suspensions?

Same place as always, immediately south and east of Staples on the southern edge of Downtown. For the second straight year, they also hit East LA (5 miles east of Staples). I guess the difference between doing that now and doing that in the year 2000 is that no one would've noticed any difference in 2000.
