  1. Todd Haley is an [expletive] but the guy can coach. I'd be surprised if there was that much friction between him and Weis considering how well the offense is doing.
  2. Our fast break points are wayyyy down since Noah went out. I doubt we've been in the double digits in any one game since Noah went down. Fact is, we're a defense/rebounding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team. Offense is almost an after thought until we get Noah and a legit 2 guard.
  3. Also, he's not getting as many easy transition baskets without Noah. But his TS% is pretty much identical to what it was last season on a higher volume of shots so it isn't that big of a deal despite his current shooting slump. He's taking 5 times as many 3s this year compared to last year. That's a pretty huge change.
  4. He's taking more 3s than ever and sort of ignoring the midrange game that worked so well for him last season.
  5. Moron clock operator gonna delay the game 5 minutes because he doesn't know to stop it.
  6. Wow, that must have hurt. I really, really want to laugh but I'd feel like an ass.
  7. I wouldn't be all that surprised if we finished ahead of Boston. They're gonna take their foot off the gas with the injuries piling up. All they need is a top 4 seed and health by the end of the year. I'd actually consider the Bulls finishing ahead of Boston in the standings like a 50/50. I'd be more surprised if we finished ahead of Orlando.
  8. I feel like we have no transition game at all without Noah. Boozer has been amazing though. Rose will never, ever get a [expletive] call though. That no And 1 that just happened was [expletive] outrageous.
  9. Is Wennington this boring on the radio? I miss Stacey. Noah was awesome, he should call games until he gets back.
  10. I missed the start. Is Jacory Harris really that bad?
  11. Rose will never get a call.
  12. The Bulls are playing right now if anyone was unaware of the weird tip off time.
  13. Isn't the lack of a clock run off a loophole?
  14. Oh my god those calls at the end of the KSU/Cuse and UT/UNC games were beyond awful.
  15. What a ball.
  16. Completely agree with the team vs. individual distinction. I doubt there will ever be a metric that'll capture as much about an individual player (outside of QB maybe) as even OPS does for a baseball player. But I'm in favor of it overall and I actually think the NFL is adopting it as a tool faster than MLB did.
  17. Army won a bowl game.
  18. Brandon Lloyd has like 3 of the top 10 greatest catches in league history. He's got talent, obviously. But all the numbers put up under Josh McDaniels are kinda suspect, IMO.
  19. You really wouldn't do that deal if you're the Lakers? I don't know why Denver would do it. Bynum's largely a tease at this point...Melo would be like Aaron Rodgers. Teams try, and fail, to get top 5 talents like him for years and years. They'd go from one elite wing player to another while still remaining contenders. They'd be dealing from a position of strength but they'd also be set for the next 5-7 years. If the Lakers got Melo I'd be really pissed off.
  20. Epic ending to the Kings/Grizz game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eP2dvmEUvJ8&feature=player_embedded I can't stop laughing at how far out on the floor one of the Kings bench players goes while the ball is still in the air.
  21. I'm going to need a refresher course on the differences between a meathead, meatball, and chucker.
  22. Somehow I kept missing Oklahoma State all year and haven't seen much of them. Blackmon is amazing. His hands are like a vice.
  23. Uh...wow. That was some bootleg. lol, there wasn't a guy within 20 yards within seconds
  24. There are only so many backups they can use at once. And the more you put in there, the more you are exposing your remaining starters by forcing them to play with lesser players. You only get 45 actives, and WR, TE, RB, DL and DB all use some sort of rotation already. And most of those guys all play special teams as well. What do you do, take out Urlacher, Forte, Cutler, Briggs, Peppers, Tillman, Hester and Knox? I'd take Cutler and Forte out. Reduce snaps on Urlacher, Briggs, and Peppers if not take them out completely. Take Hester and Knox off of returns. Bennett is gimped right now so they probably have to play receiver. Edit: 98% of my concern would be alleviated if Cutler were taken out. Let him get reps in a crazy/loud environment to give him a taste of playoff football and then take him out. I'll trust Lovie to manage everyone else's snaps properly.
  25. Stafford can't even get on the field and Freeman is pretty good?
