I love when the ball clearly goes through the uprights with a few seconds left and they still let the clock run out. It's like everyone decides to get lazy rather than have a kickoff.
Didn't Weiss take Willingham's last 2 recruiting classes and goto 2 BCS bowls? The core of those teams were from Ty's first recruiting class. And the classes got progressively worse which is what ND bottomed out with in 2007.
They should've held onto Ty 1-2 years longer? I mean if your goal is to lay complete waste to the program that would've been a good move. The guy couldn't coach and couldn't recruit. Look at what he did to Washington...they went 0-12!
They never should have converted Brett Bracket to WR. He's a good receiver, but I'm betting he would have been a better QB option than McFavre, Boldin or Newsome Wasn't Bolden a pretty big time recruit? Surely PSU isn't giving up on him already. They gave him 6 games before pulling him for a walk-on, so.... And for the vast majority of JoePa's coaching career a guy like him would've been shirted. It's a different world now. Bolden wasn't even one of those guys who came in a semester early was he? No way you give up on a guy like that with the options PSU is looking at.

I love Wisconsin's never ending supply of nondescript white quarterbacks. I'm pretty sure Sorgi, Stocco, Tolzien, and Bollinger are literally the same person. I'm sure I'm missing a couple guys too.
Who knows? We're becoming ND. We think we're special and have no patience. you keep saying this. it doesn't make any sense. How many coaches have you had in the past 10 years? You on your 4th head coach now? It doesn't show impatience to see that Weis and Ty weren't going to get it done at Notre Dame and changes needed to be made. It does, however, show a functioning brain and sensory organs.
