They never should have converted Brett Bracket to WR. He's a good receiver, but I'm betting he would have been a better QB option than McFavre, Boldin or Newsome Wasn't Bolden a pretty big time recruit? Surely PSU isn't giving up on him already. They gave him 6 games before pulling him for a walk-on, so.... And for the vast majority of JoePa's coaching career a guy like him would've been shirted. It's a different world now. Bolden wasn't even one of those guys who came in a semester early was he? No way you give up on a guy like that with the options PSU is looking at.

I love Wisconsin's never ending supply of nondescript white quarterbacks. I'm pretty sure Sorgi, Stocco, Tolzien, and Bollinger are literally the same person. I'm sure I'm missing a couple guys too.

Who knows? We're becoming ND. We think we're special and have no patience. you keep saying this. it doesn't make any sense. How many coaches have you had in the past 10 years? You on your 4th head coach now? It doesn't show impatience to see that Weis and Ty weren't going to get it done at Notre Dame and changes needed to be made. It does, however, show a functioning brain and sensory organs.

If Penn State doesn't hold on here the Big 10 will look pretty bad. MSU/Bama is a snuff film and Michigan isn't doing much better.

I don't think he'd fail, given time. He's a damn good coach. I'm just saying the transition from RRod to Harbaugh is as dramatic as the change from Carr to RRod was in the first place. And obviously those transitional pains is why RRod's is on the hot seat. Going from the scheme and personnel Rodriguez runs to what Harbaugh wants is a big difference and it probably wouldn't be pretty in the beginning.

It's easy to talk about a guy fitting your identity and all that stuff before you actually have to step on the field. When Michigan can't move the football next year because they're totally ill suited for the offense Harbaugh runs the mob will be angry again.

What's the deal there? Is Rodriguez really gonna get canned? RRod --> Harbaugh is another massive change philosophically. Do they have the stomach for that again? Michigan just needs to figure out a defense.

Well it's Thomas that's replacing Noah and he can't run at this point in his career. Plus Noah would block a shot or grab a rebound and fire an outlet pass (or even dribble the ball up himself) to kick start the break. We've been missing it.
