    getting a rookie scale contract at QB and trading fields gets you a dart or two though

    fields has never gotten a 50/50 type call for roughing edit: also giving up even one yard at the edge of santos' range/in the weather by sliding was sub obtimal

    I don't really think he could be had but I think there's been enough smoke around Herbert and enough plausibility that the Chargers would want to build around Williams as a local college product to breathe some life (Herbert's really good but he's not Mr. Personality) to consider the possibility of the Bears trading for him

    braxton jones could be a good depth piece but he's not the long term answer either

    the infrastructure of a good defense is there, i think that's obvious despite flacco putting up a bunch of yards i never expected the defense to keep answering the bell in the 2nd half when the offense couldn't do jack horsefeathers
