    i wouldn't hate this it'll be endless fodder for the talking heads shows and maybe a bit (or a lot) awkward in the locker room but the odds off whatever trade capital fields can net contributing right away in 2024 doesn't seem to obviously outweigh the benefits of having a good backup QB in whoever doesn't start, letting williams sit and watch, creating a huge amount of competition etc

    whomever from inside the cubs leaked info to cj and playmaker david felt real bad about it and apologized and we are back in the hunt

    i hope i'm right and not deluding myself but i don't see a situation where flus stays and fields goes if you draft a QB and get rid of fields, you dangle the opportunity to one of the young OC candidates out there to have complete control of the offense and the ability to work with a rookie qb from the ground up

    fields definitely left some plays out there by holding too long and he took huge shots too but getsy should be able to dial up something that completely out leverages the Vikings for a huge gain with the TOP advantage

    these are pretty special plays waiting for the crippling mistake

    someone smarter about the cap than me should explain why having a high 1RP QB AND fields on the roster would be a terrible thing--wouldn't we still be pretty underweight on dollars spent on QB is the logic better than it Feels Weird and the qb room might be awkward because i don't find that terribly convincing

    another development from today, staley has to be cooked which means kellen moore is probably going to need another job after this season slowik, johnson, moore et. al. should be a pretty good pool of young offensive gurus to choose from

    play the string out, fields puts in whatever performance he does and you hire the best young offensive mind and the front office doesn't say a horsefeathers word about what they think of fields moving forward and let the new coach make the call without a bunch of takes poisoning the well worst thing would be is he maybe plays well for a couple games, gets hurt again, and the new hire makes a 60/40 call on incomplete information

    at the risk of sounding like a fields stan, i thought there were a couple of scrambles where a lion piled on late that should've been called unnecessary roughness

    if you go into player settings and toggle the y button to "take the first down" it's an easy first down every single time wake up sheeple

    just "throw the hot route" and "take the first down" aren't magical elixirs that exist on every play either

    you have to keep in mind that kyle gets up in the morning to be the most unlikeable person in any group setting everything else is downstream of that

    defense is definitely all over the receivers for the most part, can't recall much YAC for lions receivers
