  1. Results—what other measure could I possibly use? It’s a bad NFL offense right now and the run game in particular would be historically awful if this performance were stretched over an entire season If you want to make the argument that most coaches are pretty interchangeable and it’s all about the jimmys and joes then I won’t necessarily disagree but then Shane should’ve advocated for different players
  2. how convenient for Shane and every coach in the nfl that has no culpability for the success or failure of the players they coach
  3. if this is true then he should call some non standard runs because his horsefeathers isn’t working
  4. losing to this version of anthony richardson should be a fireable offense they did us a favor by not putting Flacco in we would’ve lost by three touchdowns
  5. because most nfl coaches are morons apparently
  6. 363 yards passing surpasses mitch and fields single game career high, only 18 yards short of cutler's single game high as a bear lol
  7. watch those timeouts end up mattering
  8. that's an obvious go for 2 call and you have to burn a timeout
  9. we need a defender to just fall down or pull a hamstring only way i see us scoring a TD
  10. larger forces are at work too:
  11. i think still think we need to show caleb keep the ball on some of those shotgun handoffs to keep the defense honest. should've done it down by the goal line
  12. yeah, not many guys can make that throw
  13. i wonder if a 4th and goal run play from inside from the one yard line has ever lost 12 yards before without a fumble being involved
  14. never expected anywhere near this amount of deandre carter in my life
  15. anthony richardson is the will levis of jake lockers
  16. so why didn't you blow the gd whistle
  17. horsefeathers off Riley losing a game where the opposing qb has 32 yards passing
  18. i don't think we've called a single PA or boot where 1 or more unblocked defenders weren't immediately crashing down on the QB. there haven't been a ton because we can't sustain drives but every single one has gotten blown up i think. and there are not many QBs i'd take over caleb to trust to beat 1 unblocked defender on a PA or boot but the fact that they're crashing down so hard leads me to believe we just aren't fooling anyone at all
  19. I think Poles thinks continuity and scheme familiarity is more important at OL than WR or edge And he might be right about that, Jenkins and Wright have been brutal so far but they’re capable of a lot more than they have shown
  20. this is an apocalyptically bad number of pressures to give up, an nfl defense averages between 10-15 pressures a game depending on tempo and run/pass mix mainly
  21. at least our schedule is looking pretty cake for the next 5-6 weeks
