poles ain’t getting fired unless it’s way worse behind the scenes and George and Warren are on tilt
and not because he doesn’t possibly deserve to be but the narrative just isn’t there
I’m actually more interested in a dissection of the second to last play
romo said it was a qb draw I’m guessing because of the way it was “blocked” but Caleb wasn’t gearing up to run from the looks of it
you can absolutely get an inbounds (if necessary) quick hitter for a short gain to put yourself in realistic field goal range and still have enough time to fire drill your kick team out there especially if you have a timeout to talk it over
good thing we drafted a project tackle who was hurt to the point WHEN we drafted him that he didn't participate in OTAs or training camp and immediately got hurt within like 10 snaps when he did see the field
i think every viable HC candidate that is currently an OC is going to want to call plays unless they have some deep relationship with brown already
to me it's more like if you hire vrabel or like jesse minter would they keep brown
the real retention question is if the offense can look good enough the rest of the way for management to expand the HC candidate pool to defensive guys with the "suggestion" that they keep brown or if it's going to be a complete turnover in the staff
