  1. Unreal
  2. This isn't useful for the Bears playoff hopes but lol
  3. Hopefully it dawns on the Browns that they have no incentive to win
  4. The backup generally has the advantage of not having film or having the defense prepped for him. Cutler wouldn't have that opportunity. The good news is that the Browns are probably too feeble to take advantage of it. In any case, the last time Cutler was sent into start coming back from injury he clearly wasn't healthy and was summarily executed by the Lions. That's worrisome enough. USS is completely unhinged and goony is making an argument that is one step removed from "COUNT TEH RINGZ!1one"
  5. I really think this is where some people just aren't getting it. No one is discrediting what McCown has done. He's been better than about 98% of backups that have ever gotten the chance to play. He's simply not as talented or capable of making all the plays that need to be made on a long term basis as Cutler. If you're so hung up on Cutler being the long term answer, you can still bring him back whether he plays or not the remainder of the season. The decision Trestman is facing isn't really about that. It's about who is better to win 3 games that are all must-haves: the less-talented hot hand or the starter shaking off injuries and/or rust. I think the best argument for Cutler is that if he's healthy and productive, we have a much higher ceiling (probably a lower floor but who cares if you're not winning the championship/tanking for draft position).
  6. Bunch of stans in literal hysterics
  7. That really wouldn't be a knee-jerk reaction.
  8. If Cutler got squirrelly with the football due to rust (and his style of play in general) you'd think the Browns aren't the kind of team that would make us pay but who knows with this defense.
  9. May as well keep the pressure on, what the hell They get the Ravens and Giants at home, followed at a completely shiftless Vikings team. You pretty much can only pray for one more loss out of them. (Even given how dumb they are) Bears need to win out I dunno its....really bad. The Bears really shouldn't have lost those last two games, they may not be mathematically out, but...its really bad. Bears will be favored @ CLE and the Ravens need the win @ DET on Monday. I like the odds of that happening and Detroit coming unglued.
  10. Oh man how great would it be for the Lions to become unhinged and crash and burn
  11. Don't think Lee will be coming back
  12. That's horrible containment
  13. I'm really looking forward to the defense injecting confidence into Dallas
  14. Just call jump balls within 30 yards of the end zone plz
  15. This new Keanu movie is going to flop hard.
  16. surely the cowboys will have reverence for our goal line offense
  17. [expletive] this [expletive]
  18. Lol this Ravens Vikings game is wacky.
