    I only caught part of that, but he said something about bringing in a reliever who's throwing 30-40 foot curveballs. He tells it like it is, that's for sure.

    Because it hit him in the glove and he just dropped it. Not a great throw, but at the very least the runner at second was out. You can't assume a double play. Fair enough....Pat made it sound like it was a horrible throw.
