    Even with him platooning, I figure he'll hit 15ish homers for us. That would be pretty impressive, given he's never topped 9 in a season (and his next highest total is 6). True. But he was thought to have 25-30 homer pop coming up(did hit over 15 a few times in the minors) and I figure the change of ballparks helps a bit.

    The Dodgers just dealt Harand and 4.2 mill to the Rockies for Ramon Hernandez, who was DFA'd a few days ago. Harang isn't a stud, but he's a fairly solid SP. Sending him alone for Hernandez is awful. Adding cash on top of it though?

    I'm going to be perfectly happy with either of Appel or Gray.

    Gray went 6.2, gave up 2 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks, and 8 K's. Worst outing in a while. Not that it was bad even.

    At least Rizzo actually attempted to work a proper at bat. Eh, Starlin swung at a strike and took it to the warning track. Sure, it'd be nice if it came on the 5th pitch of the AB. But he saw a pitch he liked and almost got enough of it.......[expletive] Upton, that ball was killed.

    Well, velo returned in the 3rd, but he did get hit that inning and gave up 2 runs.

    Rodon's velo took a drop again between the 1st and 2nd today as well.

    Frank Wren evidently threw a,hissy fit because our pitching staff wouldn't leave the outfield when the Braves took batting practice.
