  1. Yeah, forgot about him.
  2. Tripp over Sam makes sense. I wouldn't mind Dion Bailey or Exum, if we stayed in the secondary. Skov would be OK. Lyerla is about the only offensive guy I see, although drafting an O-Lineman would work-I just don't see anyone that still stands out. Same with WR.
  3. Sam represents a need, I wouldn't mind seeing him in the 6th for us.
  4. By the way, I would have preferred just taking Vereen in the 4th. I've got no issue with taking a backup to Forte, but Vereen seems like the more important need. So, from that standpoint, I guess I change my opinion. We did overpay. But I'm still of the mind a 5th isn't hard to acquire.
  5. Ugh, stupid need obsession ignoring value. To grab a guy that appears to have fallen? I'm not fretting over a 5th next year. You can always recoup that pick. Not when you've shown zero ability to judge value of draft picks. Good teams trade down and stockpile. The only reason to stockpile is to eventually package picks to go get a guy you really want. You can't have 8-10 draft picks a year making your roster anyway. Sure, we paid up a bit. But it was to go grab a guy we wanted/needed. Re-acquiring a 5th next year, if we want to do so, isn't hard to accomplish.

  7. Emery is pretty [expletive] good.
  8. Well, he gives us a legit backup RB. I like Ford, but this is OK. Maybe Exum in the 5th? Can't imagine Desir lasting anyway.
  9. Average fastball velocity is up like 10 mph since TJ pitched. That takes its toll. That can't be true, can it? Without looking or even if its possible to find this out.... My guess is you'd have to go back to the 50's, maybe even the 40's, to get a 10MPH average discrepancy.
  10. Sutton's an excellent value pick.
  11. Brooks just went to the Ravens. Lots of options here, offense wouldn't surprise me at all.
  12. Definitely possible. But his stature as the best IFA pitching prospect last year dropped due to loss of velo late in the year. I'm cautiously optimistic though, because he won't be worked as hard by us as he was last year.
  13. I'm not worried about whether the experts call him a reach, Long was too.
  14. Kiper and McShay hate it. 4th round grade from them.
  15. SD jumped us to take Amaro? Figured Nix was going there. Shocked we had shot at Nix, but if we like Ferguson more, so be it.
  16. Ferguson is solid. Fine with that.
  17. Brooks or Exum, if we stay in the secondary?
  18. If he's playing inside that much, Ealy is fine. How about Niklas? It wouldn't kill me anyway. Neither would Morgan Moses, who I don't understand still being available.
  19. With Hiuston, Young, and Allen, I really hope we address something else.
  20. [expletive]. Ravens are taking Jernigan.
  21. Too many trades, I think the Steelers just took Tuitt.
  22. It's a ?. He's got potential, it's in the range of where he should have went. It's definitely a need pick, guess you gotta trust the FO. Personally, I like Garappolo slightly more. Trusting the Raiders front office is like trusting John Mayer not to [expletive] a hot celebrity chick. I know Al's dead, but Mark's still lurking. I thought McKenzie was highly thought of though?
  23. They've been cautious in everything they've done, it makes sense. Hopefully Kiley is right and one of the 3 fall to us.
