  1. Reid-Foley, Adams and Gatto are the 3 best HS pitchers left on BA's board. Dylan Cease would be with them, if not for TJS.
  2. Fedde went 18 to the Nats as well. Likely would have been a top 10-12 pick.
  3. We're going to see quite a few guys we like go between now and when we pick on overslots. There's enough of them though that we'll still be OK.
  4. Actually, if Bukauskas majestically became signable for under 3 mill, he'd be my TOP choice, then Cease and Kopech.
  5. Medeiros at 12, Turner going 13. Personally, TJS or not, I want Cease more than any of the potential over slot guys. I like Kopech a good amount too.
  6. I'll guess 3-3.5 mill on Schwarber. My hope is 2.5 though, as its very possible he would slipped out of the top 15.
  7. Hoffman going. Not a fan of Flaherty at 2.5 mill, by the way. I hope we hear money on Schwarber tonight.
  8. The McLeod loves Alex Jackson has really taken on a life of it's own. It was a throwaway comment from a guy who many believe throws [expletive] at the wall, heard second hand from other people he said he knew, over a year ago. You'd think McCleod was directly quoted or something from how people talk about it. I thought I remembered him laying it on pretty thick with Jackson. "Everyone knows McLeod's favorite prospect he's ever scouted is Jackson" or something to that extent. I could be wrong though. Either way, just another thing he's wrong on, but lets thank him for sharing!
  9. Law brought up Flaherty again for us at 45. So did Mark Gonzalez.
  10. I bet you'd still carry a backup catcher. I really can't see a team letting their second catcher be a guy playing the field every day. I don't think you'd have to. Just have that Baker/Whitesides waste of a roster type guy in AAA, in case there needed.
  11. Technically, he'd give us flexibility. Wouldn't have to carry a backup C. He could play there once a week and LF the rest of the time, which would be kind of cool. Hopefully we hear money on this soon.
  12. Assuming BA is correct, give me Conforto at 4. On a big discount.
  13. The [expletive] White Sox will steal Rodon if Kolek goes 2.
  14. Cooper is saying Kolek at 2. Don't [expletive] with us, please.
  15. Oh well, under slot time for us, unless Miami fucks up.
  16. Not that it'd ever happen, but I'd much rather see Crawford, Law, McDaniel, Callis, and Manuel. With no one else even allowed on screen.
  17. You gotta run with that. Have him paying tons for a phone call from Emmanuel Lewis, buying a 5 mill bass boat previously owned by Matt Suhey.... Something showing they're spending on everything but the Cubs.
  18. I'll never make the mistake of trusting anyone saying anything positive for the Cubs again. I won't go that far, it WAS believable. But Cobs, so maybe so.
  19. God, I hope the Astros go off the wall.
  20. That article is behind a paywall, what's the bump up for? The radio deal or speculation on TV deal? The WGN part of the TV deal. Up from 250k. Also- Have reached out to FOX, but no serious negotiations have taken place. I mean why would there be? We have another 4 months on this contract Just going back to the time we thought we may have a multi-billion dollar deal with FOX lined up. That was obviously pulled straight out of thin air.
