  1. Cool, glad to see Stinnett get a few token innings over the rest of the season. Geez, quite a difference between Underwood's ERA and his FIP.
  2. I'd love to get 1-1 as long as it means no injuries and the guys we're counting on continue to play well.
  3. This is a crapshoot. He'll be on the team next year, but he's just as likely to play like Nate has this year as he is to play this well again. For that matter, bringing Nate back on a minor league deal next year could pay off well if he's not dealt this month and wants to stick around. There's no consistency, I'd rather have Coghlan for his versatility but I think Nate could easily outplay him next year.
  4. You mean Rafael Lopez? He's a decent bet to be our backup C at some point next year.
  5. I want Rusney signed, we can use an OFer and it gives us even more flexibility going forward.
  6. Somehow it took KB 32 games this year to reach 8.
  7. Pierce's stats since returning from injury(not including today) 33.2IP 21H 8R 7ER 16W 35K
  8. Pierce K'd the side in the 1st, all with his slider.
  9. There are quotes from Starlin after Russell has been dealt for, where he's excited and just wants to be on the field. The position thing will work itself out.
  10. Jonathan Martinez debut for Kane County 5IP 3H 1R 0W 2K
  11. Caratini 2-2 with 2 RBI singles. Daytona gets no hit in a rain shortened game.(5.1)
  12. I remember reading it somewhere way back when we signed him. But I had thought we only had next year as a control year for some reason. But I was on Cot 's and noticed that last month. We've got him basically for the entirety of him possibly being a useful pitcher.
  13. Thanks for sharing. Definitely shows how young the group is, Soler's is distorted from his Arizona games.
  14. What in the blue hell just happened?
  15. Absolutely on.
  16. He could see the AZL next year. He's already had his TJS. Even if there's a year long recovery, he'd be there by now. If its a quick recovery, he could get most of that season in. That said, it's plausible we take it slow with him obviously. But I'd expect him to get some innings in, barring setbacks.
  17. We're going to hit 1000 total from 2016-2019 I don't want us to trade any of these kids. (ducks)
  18. Home Runs. We will see many, many of them.
  19. He's making a case for the end of our top 10.
  20. While the outlook has changed on his future, it's still nice to see Olt playing well in Iowa. He could still be a decent power bat off the bench.
  21. This is full tank mode. Make your hay immediately, because we'll have Javy and Soler up in September. Which could lead to winning a few more games. I know Javy has struggles initially at each level, but 100 at bats will give him plenty of ideas on what he has to work on over the offseason anyway. This is our last chance at the top overall pick(and IFA slots), I hope we get it. As long as the few guys we plan on having around long term still play well in the meantime.
  22. http://www.baseballamerica.com/majors/ranking-trade-deadline-prospects/ According to BA, we got 3 of the top 10 prospects dealt during trading season. 1,2, and 8. Our deal with Oakland keeps looking better and better.
  23. I WOULD be scared by the Dread Pirate Javy.
  24. Dave Cameron defending Tampa was mildly amusing. I like Adames quite a bit, but Smyly and Franklin is the rest? It's awful. Who is even the lead piece here. I refuse to this as a win for Tampa, when Russell was on the table for them. If you trade Price, it damn sure better be for impact.
