    He's really start to make my faith in him waver. He needs to just go out and pound the strike zone, if they get hits so be it, but don't give them free passes. Yes, the 1.25 walks per 9 is a serious concern.

    I hope we do. He deserves a nice contract, he wants to be here, and he just fits with this team. I'll be disappointed if we lose him. I think it'd be hard for him to put up a season like this again. This front office's MO doesn't seem to be willing to pay for past performance, no matter how emotionally sentimental it'd be. I think he'll get a 4 year deal somewhere this offseason. He's still not that old. Just don't think it'll be from us. I don't think he needs to put up a season like this one. I get that we won't give him a 5 year deal. But if he's willing to take 3/54 or something like that......My guess is we'll be seeing Dex again next year. The discipline won't age and he's getting a bit larger, so we may see a drop in speed(including a bit of D) but a slight increase in power. I think he'd be a very solid 3 year investment.

    Colome sounds great, but I don't see the point of adding Jennings, who seems like a poor man's version of Almora in terms of production offensively and defensively. Yeah, I'd be excited about Colome. I wasn't aware Jennings has been this awful. Just leave him be.

    Not a smart guy, but that's a very stupid article. Schwarber came up, mashed, and hasn't truly even had a real adjustment period yet. He's got off the charts makeup, which can and maybe even likely, will, affect his progress in a positive way. I love analytics, but Cameron fails because he doesn't acknowledge the scouting side nearly enough.

    Damn. That's interesting. Interesting but seems against Theo's MO to trade young cost controlled talent for 2 rentals, even if they are looking to move Jorge. True, but Theo can work around that narrative by signing them to multi year deals. (I get that they'd be acquired as rentals though, Theo could still talk around it)
