  2. I can't find confirmation of this anywhere, where did you read it? Not that it wasn't expected. CCO. Gonzalez evidently reported it.

  4. Just released. Thanks for sucking to make the win better in the end. Team guy.
  5. 30 years from now, Travis Wood will have pitched out of a bases loaded jam FROM LEFT FIELD.
  6. I figure it'd take Happ as the lead piece. My guess is Soler has lost quite a bit of value over the last season. But I'd move either for Odorizzi.
  7. [tweet] [/tweet] PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
  8. That should have dropped. But glad to see Zobrist is back.
  9. I think he had his own plan. And it was decent, in its own way.
  10. Much respect to even bother with TJS at 40. Soft spot or whatever, he's not Peralta. I'd give him a little time.
  11. I've thought about this and my honest guess is even IF he put up 2 "typical" seasons.....He'd stay in his deal. If not, WIN WIN- this thing is going to be laughably bad late in the deal.
  12. horsefeathers it, he absolutely horsefeathering sucks.
  13. You're comfortable with that, if a guy goes down? Because you SHOULD be scared [expletive]. How many guys are comfortable with their 6th starter? Ideally you'd like a young guy in AAA who could be a future rotation piece but between Wood and Montgomery you have a couple of options. Heck you could even extend Cahill. We can afford to have a true 6th guy, just using all of them for the rest of the year. We need to guard against injury and also 2nd half Hammel. Who we're counting on Potato Chips as his fix-it. Our rotation could quickly take a turn for the worse and this isn't a year we should allow for it. Especially since it'd likely kill 2 birds with one stone, by helping out further than just this season.
  14. Well, hopefully Montgomery gets a few good innings in tonight.
  15. It absolutely reflects on it. This guy was our next-in-line. Not anymore. Now we don't have one. So now all of these pitchers in their thirties have to stay healthy and not lose any juice. Travis Wood? You're comfortable with that, if a guy goes down? Because you SHOULD be scared shitless.
