  1. Pryor gets 1 yr, 8 mill from Washington. WTF
  2. Not bad.
  3. I'm not really worried about cap room honestly. Between Houston, Royal, and Porter, that's 13 mill more to use. And if you find a OT by tomorrow, Massie saves you another 5 mill.
  4. Reiff went to the Vikings.
  5. If he's cheap, then sure. I think I'm kind of OK going into the season with Amukamara, Fuller, Porter, Leblanc, Callahan, Hall and a draft pick as an entire group. The talent is there, its just a matter of finding a breakout guy among them, to pair with Amukamara. Hell, cut Porter, and I'm still fine with the group. If you DO add a guy at this point, it may take you completely out of drafting one, in a super strong year. I think I'd rather have the draft pick used on one, than another signing.
  6. The horsefeathering optimist in me still sees quite a few interesting options left for the Bears..... WR- Its Pryor. Or bust. My guess is Kendall Wright may be the outcome, or Patterson. At least Patterson could seriously help the return game..... S- I'm intrigued with bringing Jairus Byrd in.....He could bounce back and probably has more upside than any DB, outside of the top corners.... DL- Hankins, Poe, and Bennie Logan are sitting there. Any of the 3 would be an extremely solid addition. I think I'd put adding one of them on a par with adding Pryor actually. OT- Beachum getting healthy could be huge for our O-Line. If we add here, I'd rather take a shot like this, than take a prototypical swing guy. At any rate, if Pace could somehow add Pryor, one of the DL's, and Beachum.....This off season is completely back on track.
  7. Would Pryor take a Alshon deal? I'm guessing the multi year deals wont give him the AAV he wants. Worth a gamble? I have no idea. It kind of bugs me Cleveland didn't wrap him up early, because he wanted to stay. Do they know something? At any rate, its just day 2 and I'm probably thinking too hard on that. I know I'd love to get him on a 3 year deal or so.
  8. You've got to go find an actual WR at this point. It'd be nice to upgrade Massie too, but I'm not sure that player exists in FA now. I'd take a flyer on Kelvin Beachum though. Nice upside play that I bet would wind up taking a starting spot, if he's healthy and motivated.
  9. Amukamara is an excellent signing.
  10. We wouldn't have wanted him at that price, he's a slot corner that's heavily protected by safeties. I have a feeling that Pace will draft Lattimore and another CB high now, and run with them as the starters. Maybe if there's a trade down or 2. With the holes we have, I really don't see us staying at 3 if there's even a remotely fair offer to move down. And with the injury concerns Lattimore has with his hamstrings, I kind of doubt Pace takes that gamble, at this point.
  11. Seriously, WTF? We've literally ADDED needs to our draft outlook, instead of subtracting from it..... QB, WR, OT, TE, DL, EDGE, CB(multiple), S At this point, horsefeathers adding a QB in the draft. Let the new coach next year consult and get the guy he wants, instead of being stuck with a guy he didn't choose and immediately have to teach him a different pro system. I expected us to grab some impact guys in FA. I went into today honestly thinking that we would add enough to where it was POSSIBLE to be a potential playoff team even with Glennon. Welp, I'd say I was wrong lol. I actually thought we could set ourselves up to where drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd was possible AND still fill in enough spots to where the team looked relatively solid on paper. Trade down, trade down again, then trade down again lol. Amukamara or Claiborne? If they'll even consider us lol? I figure we'll wind up with Kendall Wright, for some reason. Holy horsefeathers, today sucked. I'm sure there's some hot taeks in this.....But horsefeathers it. This was cringe-worthy.
  12. Ryan gets 3/30 from Tennessee lol. Holy hell, are we going to just sit on our asses? Then Biggs says Bouye never even truly considered us, due to being 3-13 and having an unstable coaching staff moving forward lol. Holy horsefeathers, Theo must be looking at Pace and laughing his horsefeathering ass off.
  13. That's within a mill per year of what Doyle got..... but Doyle's actually decent and has some use in the passing game. Exactly. My point is we overpay for a guy like this, but miss out on impact players at reasonable deals.
  14. Thats.... a lot more than I was expecting. YUP IT SURE IS That's within a mill per year of what Doyle got.....
  15. Nope. But Pace missed quite a few guys today.
  16. I'd like Beachum as a guy to compete at OT. Ryan is a must. Pryor is a definitive need. And if the price starts dropping on a Hankins or Poe, that could still help.
  17. horsefeathers you Pace
  18. what is gordon's status even? He's applied for reinstatement. Should get it.
  19. Holy horsefeathering horsefeathers at the WR market, if Terrelle Pryor doesn't wind up a Bear..... Michael Floyd, Kendall Wright, and Gordon.....Who now looks like a guy we can't do without, if we miss on Pryor.
  20. Well.....He obviously doesn't care about winning. He doesn't even want to play for the team he guaranteed was winning the next SB.
  21. Or horsefeathers it, Pace. Turn into horsefeathering GarPax.
  22. Ugh. This day needs to get better. Bring us some good presents. Starting with Pryor and Ryan.
  23. And we're in on Pryor.
  24. Good. We need to take advantage of how strong the TE class is this year.
