    I agree. I would rest a lot easier if this thing was either confirmed or denied by a credible source....I.E. Bruce. I would say don't get your hopes up unnecessarily. But, on the other hand, this move would make a lot of sense from the Cubs point of view.

    I'm not an expert on the minors, but it seems from what I've read here, we don't really have the prospect package to compete with a lot of teams. Is that accurate? The youngsters are showing a lot of promiss so far this spring. Except for Welly. IMO they are upping their trade value as each game goes by.

    I would go out on a limb and say that the Cubs would at the very LEAST make the playoffs. Barring any.....dare I say injuries.

    If the Cubs could land Miggy, then Hendry would get an extension. And the good thing about that is.....he would deserve it.

    Well, if its true then the Cubs arent as lost as I thought. This would be HUGE. And I'm sure all the Fish want in return are minor leaguers. WOW. Would be huge. But I will believe it when I see it.

    If the Fish are going to offer Miggy at the trade deadline, I would MUCH MUCH rather have him. I guess we have to wait and see how it plays out.

    That is the way it appears. They have a good combo of speed and power. I think the wildcard in the line-up is going to be Jones. We shall see how it all plays out. I'm gettin excited. :D
