  1. Hey Jason Marquis sucks... let's kill him!
  2. Twitter says he's going in for X-rays. Fingers crossed...
  3. I'm sure this was common knowledge, but I never noticed until my friend pointed it out not long ago, but all of Pittsburgh's major sports teams have the same color scheme. I think that's pretty cool to have a unified color scheme across all sports for one city. How do you know Wiz?
  4. God, Chip and Stone are so [expletive] annoying. Also, CLTV sighting!
  5. Honey, I shrunk the Derwood! Almost spit out my coffee. Well done.
  6. jesus you are so bad at this

  8. Nothing worse than when your park becomes overrun with opposing team bandwagoners. I seem to remember a home game against the Giants in 2013-ish where 80-90% of the seats in view behind home plate were occupied with Giants fans. False: Kelly Crull is worse.
  9. That wasn't a strike but was nasty regardless.
  10. Olives are great. Canned, sliced, black olives that come on enchiladas are barely olives.
  11. C'mon... you give your two cents so often that you could afford several lifetimes of Tapatalk. Join usssssss
  12. I zoomed in to click links (like the magic orange square), but could read comfortably if I turned the phone landscape Basically I had no idea this was such a pain for people; it seems so minor. Sure as hell not going to pay $5 or whatever Tapatalk was until a year or two ago just because I have pinch and pull a little more. If you visit the site a few times per day every day, the cost per use is a fraction of a cent. Not having to pinch and zoom or use landscape mode in a clean interface is worth that to some people.
  13. I'm not sure if it worked this way in the old version or not, but the bigger button all the way to the left takes you to the latest unread post now, too. Is there a way to make it easier to get to newest post on desktop? The existing button is pretty small.
  14. I'd have less of an issue if they hadn't come out with that whole PR campaign about how they vetted him thoroughly and talked up his character. That campaign and the quotes from ownership were completely foolish. Why stake your organization's reputation on a guy with that kind of history? Rookie PR move.
  15. Ray McDonald is a complete piece of [expletive] -- but the outrage over the signing is inconsistent with what occurs in the NFL every season. He was accused of assault, not charged, and then when he was charged, they released him. It was a low-risk (no guaranteed $), high-reward move. It blew up and they cut him. Just about every NFL team has employed athletes who have been accused of (or charged with) serious crimes. Assault/battery (domestic and otherwise), DUI, reckless endangerment, gun charges... guys accused of and/or charged with these are still in the league -- even when the crimes or accusations are felonious. It sucks to feel like you have to cheer for horrible human being who plays on your team, but that dilemma is just a part of the NFL and the rest of pro sports.
  16. I guess that's true. And you had Kaplan and Rosner. The Castro hate/detrimental myth is a national story, though, across both fans and (mainstream) media. Which is especially annoying to me.
