What do you mean by this? Stubhub stops selling tickets 6 hours before gametime, which causes a bunch of unsold tickets to flood into the market, and people usually panic and the prices start dropping. There are a lot of scams on craigslist but saw quite a few geniunine looking posts selling tickets for well under 1k each, some in the 500-600 range for actual seats. Ah, I was wondering where you were seeing the tickets. I can imagine! -

Wow. Guy in -- what would you call the Nat Am equivalent of blackface? That's messed up. Pls pitcher to be named for Cublets - 1-2-3 inning to match this last Cubs underwhelmingness. Given that American Indians do in fact wear paint (historically) I think it's closer to a non Japanese person dressing as a geisha. Still racist AF especially given the historical context of the franchise and logos but not quite blackface.

That was an annoying loss but they didn't really hit Lester hard, Schwarbs looked amazing and we showed the we can get to Miller. Let's just go out and start winning.

I have tickets to games 3 and 4. I looked on Stub Hub and saw that I could make 20 horsefeathering grand off of these... then my wife asked me what my older or younger self would think if they knew that I had a chance to see the Cubs in the World Series and didn't go. I'm horsefeathering going.

Vodka What was the hideous concoction, OMC I think, was ripping shots of/mixing earlier this year? I want to say it was like sierra mist and gin, either way we all should do a shot/drink of that for solidarity. What the hell is the point of coming here to post doom and gloom? We have the best team in baseball -- it may not matter given playoff variance, but it's also ridiculous to act like we aren't capable of winning against the Dodgers.
