  1. I mean, that's when people are freaking out the most. My Facebook and Twitter feeds are beyond ridiculous. I'm sure his are too. Ruth Bader Ginsberg was talking about moving to New Zealand for God's sake. It's funny. People that are clearly traumatized and in pain are hilarious! And taunting them for it is good fun. Any celebrities that have made pledges to move out of the country based on the results of a democratic election deserve our collective ridicule.
  2. You think it's shameful that people joke about leaving the country if a person who has literally stated he will trample civil rights gets elected president? That's really dumb of you. You should look up the definition of shame. Yes. I think it's funny that people getting involved in a democratic election can't handle that they lost fair and square, so much that they are (falsely) claiming that they are going to literally renounce their citizenship. This happens literally every election and it doesn't get less stupid over time.
  3. First thing this morning seems like an awesome time to call that out. I mean, that's when people are freaking out the most. My Facebook and Twitter feeds are beyond ridiculous. I'm sure his are too. Ruth Bader Ginsberg was talking about moving to New Zealand for God's sake. It's funny.
  4. It doesn't necessarily mean he's a Trump supporter. I'm not and I think it's hilarious/shameful see so people claiming that they're moving to [insert country here].
  5. I had my Nest camera turned to me so I could relive the feeling of the end of the game. Looking back at the video I was supremely confident that we'd win. But now that I'm looking back, holy horsefeathers that was a stressful ending.
  6. Ooooooh, tornado sirens in the Midwest, that NEVER happens. horsefeathers, he played for and is FROM Texas; I think the state national anthem is tornado sirens. He's a swollen-faced goober. Haha, yeah but you take cover during a tornado siren....I mean come on. I mean he was funny about it, but it wasn't like he went running from a little rain shower or something. Anyway stop making me defend Berkman. He took cover after thunder and no one else ran off the field. He ran frantically and threw off his chain.
  7. Well, Wrigley Field is where all the scary mean lightning is, so I can understand his perspective. Haha didn't see this when I posted my response.
  8. Wow. Even more impressive when you think about the other media channels we have at our disposal. Incredible.
  9. Rajai Davis would have been an afterthought. While that 8th inning was a soul crushing wake up call, that 5th inning is what changed everything. And if it had, there'd be 2 men vilified: -Sam Holbrook for his inability to call a strike down the middle. -Joe Maddon for pulling Hendricks. Now here's where it gets mind boggling: Had Maddon pulled Hendricks when he did for anyone but Jon Lester, then David Ross doesn't come in. If David Ross doesn't come in, Assuming that the Indians still score there 2 runs that inning, we could very well have lost 6-5. Now I'm well aware that in every close game, there's going to be any number of factors that could have changed everything. And who's to say that if a didn't happen, that x, y, and z would have anyway. But anytime there's a close game like this, I can never stop thinking about the what ifs. Remember Ross was the one who had to field the ball, which any other pitcher could have easily fielded but Lester, and threw the ball away enabling men on 2nd and 3rd. These guys scored on the wild pitch. It would have been a tough play for any pitcher imo. Ross also played the wild pitch reallllly poorly. It was a weird bounce but taking it off the mask was the worst possible scenario.
  10. Me neither. Sounds like a great way for a player to risk getting injured before the regular season. Also a team-building killer for ST. Don't like no meaningful players go to the WBC anymore? Didn't the American team basically have like minor leaguers/role-players at best on the roster last time? Hosmer played 1B for the US while Rizzo was relegated to team Italia.
  11. I thought someone said a page or 2 back that there were $100 covers Are these actual covers or is it "mandatory $100 open bar". Because those are two vastly different things.
  12. If you want Ross in the game, why not start Hendricks (to keep him on routine) and Willson, then bring in Ross when Lester comes in for defense? Ross has crushed LHP this year as well.
  13. Oh my horsefeathering God. This is what I'm talking about! LET'S horsefeathering GO!
  14. I can't wait to get a lead and have their fans freak out.
  15. Would we realistically ever want Lester out of the pen in a 9 inning game?
  16. God, Cusack is so annoying. Also looked like he was wearing makeup last night.
  17. Met her a few years ago outside Wrigley. Was pretty crotchety. Dorothy or the daughter? Lol, Dorothy.
  18. Wisconsin hasn't won in Evanston since Bill Clinton was president.
  19. Met her a few years ago outside Wrigley. Was pretty crotchety.
  20. Walking to Belmont or Sheridan has absolutely been faster the past two nights.
