    and what's with him hitting off a tee, a 6 year old can do that but I know Kyle can hit 95 mph fastballs That's... not the same thing. If Kyle is deadlifting 135lbs, he's doing 100 reps. The point was that someone had one second to show him weightlifting in a video and chose an unimpressive weight.

    I generally love this kind of soft stuff but showing Kyle single-repping a 135 hexbar deadlift in a "he's-in-shape" video when he can probably get closer to 600 is hilarious.

    I still haven't seen any indication that Darvish "may have" reduced his asking price. Darvish is obviously the better pitcher going forward, but if the numbers end up (not that they will) with Darvish @ 6 yrs/$160 mil. and Arrieta @ 4 yrs./$90 mil. it might be a tough decision. I think the line of thinking is, 1. Cubs were “out” on front line high dollar and years FA pitchers this offseason, 2. Cubs are now “in” on dervish, Ergo, Darvish’s years or AAV must be down. That’s not the only reason the Cubs could be in now.

    I remember that one usually being next to one that said something, like, "CARDINALS FANS LIKE IT IN THE PUJOLS," or something along those lines. yeah i googled that one and couldn't find anything. The apostrophe makes it even more offensive.

    In retrospect, we really overlooked the "Japanese weirdos love Disneyland" angle. Travel time from Angel Stadium to Disneyland to Disneyland Tokyo was a major factor.

    I am sure there is room at the Zachary Hotel. A nice 2 bedroom suite, replete with amenities all for $100/mo. He doesn't make enough to afford a fancy condo after all. In all seriousness, how strict are the non-cash restrictions the Cubs and others are operating under? Is the spend limit confined to cash, or are non-cash equivalents factored in as well?

    chicago and seattle are right with LA in cost of living. San Fran is higher State income tax makes a huge difference when comparing CA with WA or TX.

    I agree that it is kind of messed up his posting team (Ham Fighters) will get a nice $20 million while the most he can get is roughly $3.5 million this offseason. It’s just the Fighters. Nippon-Ham is the company that sponsors/owns them.
