    Only caught the first 4 innings or so of the game at Wrigley, but Toussant, Cease, Gatewood, Jackson, and Gettys impressed me. Didn't see Kolek. Jackson looked like he just controlled the strikezone up there while alot of kids were uber-agressive. Pretty advanced bat. Gatewood's swing was pretty and powerful for that wiry frame and I can see the hype. I don't know why, but I was expecting to be a little underwhelmed by him. Toussant' raw stuff looked great, though I don't know if it was his frame or delivery, but something seemed a little high effort.

    Nice line for Vogelbach at Daytona so far: .286/.432/.486 with 9 K's and 9 BB's.

    I'm not going to be completely sold on Hoffman until he really proves it this season. K/9's are really low for him (under 7 / lower than Appel's when he was getting criticized as a sophmore). Hopefully the Cape was a sign of something great, but I need more than 24 innings or whatever it was before I can really buy into the hype.

    Since this thread is still hot, does anyone know a website where you can determine a players slashline based upon his last X number of games? Or is everyone just exporting gamelogs to excel and doing it themselves?

    You're probably just exaggerating , but he has Lindor at 4 and Baez at 17. And he was arguing just as hard about his opinion as Kyle was.

    I don't have a massive problem with Parks, but his whole "There's more than stats, I actually watch them play" argument was pretty douchy. I'm going to wager I and many others have seen many more Javy Baez at-bats in there entirety than him.

    The only thing better would be if @javy23baez jumped into this conversation. I chimed in last night but ended up getting into it with some other Cubs fan who seemed to believe it's impossible to be a productive player with a K-rate over 20%.

    Breaking news: Daytona's start is in a delay. Also, Sanchez is apparently piggybacking today so he might not be in til later. Or they just didn't want him to warm up and then get delayed.

    Not that McLeod wouldn't like Jackson, but are we just basing this off of that one ABTY post? I'll preface it again with the fact that i'd rather have him posts bits of info because they are certainly entertaining and provide discussion, but he was wrong about so many things this deadline (and in the past) that I really don't trust much that he says in all honesty. Marlin's the only one I trust.
