To be fair to him, he did this last year too and then came back strong (check out the first 5 pages of this thread). Of course he's a pitcher blah blah blah. But it seems like he started last year off great from a stats perspective. From a stats perspective, he's still currently at a 2.18 ERA and greater than a K per inning for this year. Unearned runs for sure, but many seem to be fairly legitimate unearned runs. NC State had like 4 errors today. I'm confident he'll be like last year and return to full form, but i'm also starting to view the slow starts he has (stuff) wise as a bigger negative than I was before (as opposed to an excuse). That said, he'd still be really high on my list at #4. On another note, Hoffman with another bland start. 7 innings, 3R, 2K, 2BB.
