Meaning what? There seems to be more people upset now that the Cubs didn't make a move for a pitcher than there were at the deadline. There especially seemed to be more last week when our shot at the division was marginally better. It made even more sense to make a move when the playoff odds were lower. Yeah, what the heck. The time to play it safe is when you have a comfortable lead in the playoff race, not when every win and loss could mean the difference between getting in and being left out. I'm not going to overly criticize since we don't know what was being demanded, but it's absolutely OK to be disappointed on the surface.
