  1. [tweet] [/tweet] also, we didn't give him enough love for how he pimped his HR http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/8878538/v733785783/chcstl-soler-belts-a-tworun-shot-to-center-field
  2. i've got him down for .333/.462/.714 baby steps...
  3. how about that, another trade where tim gets the unquestioned two best players in the deal, ok cool
  4. 2 1 (operable legs)
  5. he's #10 now, and he was #12 on the preseason list, but Seager, Buxton, Mazara all exhausted eligibility so effectively among the same group of players, he actually placed down a spot which is remarkable considering he has seemingly made as big a tangible skills improvement as anybody in all of the minors but Torres' high placement, Giolito over Urias, Devers over Moncada are all relative stunners also
  6. the Leake deal seems like a reasonable precedent, and Mella's decent but he's never been a top-100 prospect, so i'd think that would be do-able unless of course Hill pitches at this high of a level for 2 more months, then you're looking more for a Cueto-type package i'd think
  7. .358 OBP / .470 SLG .353 OBP / .479 SLG one of these lines belongs to La Stella's '15-'16 and the other belongs to Schwarber's; i won't tell you which is which
  8. those two and Cespedes all have 32 in that span
  9. possibly on topic, would you believe Khris Davis has the most HR in baseball since last year's trade deadline?
  10. interesting that Raffy Devers jumped to the top 5 with a 60 wRC+ start to the season also that Joey Gallo corrected his discipline/K problems in a major way and essentially dropped from preseason ranks
  11. well La Stella is a better true-talent player than Baez but that's none of my business
  12. the 'pen is mightier
  13. diesel??

    Machado

he was always SS eligible it seems
  15. oh yeah, neglected to mention i'd filtered out part-timers (<500 AB) because those aren't really indicative of much
  16. was curious about ZiPS updates and changes in true talent-level, so i checked out the full-season (162G) WAR paces on pre-season projections compared to rest-of-season projections stock: up! Fowler: 2.4 to 3.9, 2nd biggest increase in MLB (behind T. Shaw) Zobrist: 3.6 to 4.7, 6th-biggest increase Russell: 2.9 to 3.3 Ross: 0.3 to 2.1 lol stock: down :( Heyward: 4.7 to 3.6, one of the biggest overall drops Soler: 1.5 to 0.8 Baez: 2.4 to 1.9 everybody else mostly even
  17. [vine] [/vine]
  18. does THO stand for anything or is it just a really [expletive] way to say 'though'
  19. Kang can play 3B; i'd still hold off on that one unless it's easy to find UTIL dongsmiths if you trade Story, you should expect a more sure thing...Taijuan Walker? Carrasco?
  20. supposedly they get the Ghost of Injury Past, Zach Wheeler, back at the ASB
  21. lmao .367 wOBA Russell is like a 7-win player and .400 wOBA Bryant is full-on MVP material
  22. also, i've said this before but i see it being a near-zero chance that Arte's willing to give him away to the Dodgers, which knocks out the biggest threat right away i'm not optimistic he ever gets traded, though; we're mostly being unreasonably vulturous here
  23. drop Carlos Gomez add Travis Shaw
