  1. i don't see what's so surprising
  2. i've got battered wife syndrome with gomez, he's too toolsy for me to give up on
  3. i like Hermida a little, but i get an ulcer when i see people stupidly continue to pore over home-road splits like they mean anything they were dead wrong about holliday and they were dead wrong about khalil greene, the two most glaring examples of h-r discrepancy
  4. here i was about to say kaz matsui and then i see his 14:93 ratio as a 20 y.o. in Japan, i give up
  5. for Castro's floor, i'm trying to think of highly touted prospects with decent enough plate disc who never much grew into power or had other developmental problems, like Cabrera, Rivas or Guzman but none of those guys had success with the bat in the minors like Castro's past season
  6. they're really going to regret that extension, it might cost them Savard Mason should be better now with the return of vastly underrated Jan Hejda
  7. i'll admit it, i actually kinda like favre
  8. you're really saying it's cleaner to lead with your shoulder into somebody's head than a forearm to somebody's chest?
  9. in the end, Wisniewski sits 2 for a much cleaner hit than Richards'- you had your cynical scenarios reversed
  10. i watched their meltdown against Pittsburgh, not pretty Mason had a few pretty bad miscues that cost them a point in that one, he's not where he was last year at all
  11. fantasysensehockey.net usually does a hilarious skewering for each of Eagleson's articles, she's pretty terrible Injuries and the disappearance of Datsyuk. I have a bad feeling that this may end up spiralling down. The upside is they should be healthy at playoff time and Franzen will not have the olympic grind to go through. I just hope they make the playoffs yeesh, in a very short time they go from Draper being maybe the best 4th line C in the game to one of the worst 2nd line C in recent memory
  12. not only that, but what about Garrard on MJD's 79-yard run http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d813def9d/WK-8-Maurice-Jones-Drew-highlights i don't think i've ever seen a QB be the lead blocker escorting a RB on a long run like that before, unreal
  13. i really like lions offensive strategy- stafford throws a pick in the end zone and the defender steps out of bounds trying to avoid a tackle, for a safety
  14. yeah, that call really makes no sense
  15. man, Cutler's a mess
  16. top 10 plays of the week Getzlaf's goal there is really impressive
  17. (i would've said Ruff, but i don't remotely believe in them yet)
  18. Wolski, O'Reilly and Duchene have all been playing so ridiculously over expectations, so far Craig Anderson always put up terrific SV% in Florida, making the modest demand for him in FA really puzzling Sacco's a definite early contender for Jack Adams, along with Tippett, Tortorella, Murray
  19. who was calling them the best team in football? a lot of people? Including football outsiders? that's very reactionary then
  20. who was calling them the best team in football?
  21. How did the Lions do today? www.nfl.com
  22. does Benson ever look good
  23. Patriots on a 80-0 run, the biggest for a team since the '85 Bears
  24. they are who we thought they were
