  2. sign Brett Anderson forever, and get Weeks to platoon some with Alcantara after swapping Baez for Hamels/CarGo/Stanton (partly)
  3. if Gordon runs that out like he's Pete Rose, sure, he probably scores, but he'll have a long, long time to think about it
  4. And I'd bet against the 2014 Giants to win the World Series every [expletive] time (I realize that statement isn't actually saying much but you get my point) i don't disagree with either of these points too much, and while they've got MadBum, Posey, Pence as 3 awesome pillars, Belt & Crawford are nice pieces, there's just so little else there beyond that, even at the high minors
  5. question: is Edelman droppable? with Gronk blowing up, LaFell's been great, Vereen is involved, Wright's there too...he's kind of a lesser Keenan Allen it's starting to seem like; just running those stupid crossing routes, piling up meaningless targets to end up with useless 4/44/0 games not only that, but with 2 WR spots and a flex, i can't see him being a top 3 option amongst this list: Antonio Brown Mike Wallace Brandon LaFell JOSH GORDON Brown's Bye coincides with Gordon's return, and i'll have to flex a RB during LaFell's bye regardless, so i'm not seeing a situation where i'll need to play him going forward note: i'd probably pick up a speculative RB like Rainey or stash a dropped stud IDP on a bye to replace his spot
  6. Why? Their infield is young, and they can apparently conjure league average OFers out of thin air. mostly the giant forks hanging out of Matt Cain & Tim Lincecum...and does Panda stay? what's the rotation going to look like the next few years? all their top arms in the minors took pretty big steps back this season
  7. he signed Michael Tucker expressly so that he would lose draft picks, which i think is where a lot of the "lol Sabean" attitude originated; he's probably also guilty of overpaying for midseason fixes at times (Alderson for Freddy Sanchez, Wheeler for Beltran) we're seeing that absolutely nailing 3 straight first rounders (Lincecum, Bumgarner, Posey) certainly does set a team up pretty well, though, so whoever is responsible for those picks certainly deserves a ton of credit it's my opinion their window probably closes after this, though
  8. Better for team B, and probably by a decent margin if Cooks continues to progress with Graham healthy. i'm thinking the same. i don't know if i can possibly pull the trigger on giving up Rogers though. after the bye Rodgers gets 10 Chi 11 Phi 12 @Min 13 NE 14 Atl 15 @Buf 16 @TB good heavens that's just a red carpet rolled out for him that said, the first two positions are each sort of comparable and Ertz to Thomas is a monumental upgrade
  9. which is you don't talk about gun safety
  10. it would have seemed outrageous to put Burke or Stauskas in preseason top-10s, but we know what happened with their development, so might as well get ahead of the curve to look more prescient they're basically hyping Beilein, but you can't very well put his face in a list of best players

  12. Peat in the 2nd? i think i'd take him over Ogbuehi
  13. U-M Athletic Director Dave Brandon: http://mgoblog.com/sites/mgoblog.com/files/images/Dave-Brandon-Find-Another-Team_B800/have-a-happy-life-2.png http://mgoblog.com/content/david-brandon-i-suggest-you-find-new-team
  14. i'm buying into LaFell; for the past month, he's a top-10 WR in standard scoring and looks to have a clear role as a more vertical threat in that offense now, coming at Edelman's expense, it seems
  15. will the Bucs trade their HC, too? might be an opening somewhere for him
  16. be still my beating heart, he underrates Wisconsin now
  17. Are you really basing this off a PFF score? He was fine yesterday. The throws over 20 yards were the Hail Mary, at least 2 non-called DPIs, 1 throw away, and the great Bennett catch, which actually was called DPI too. Oh Hell no, but the fumble was all on him and he again he didn't look that great. He is getting paid like a top QB, he needs to cut down on the turnovers and make better decisions. "Fine" isn't going to get the Bears in the playoff hunt this year or next. He needs to take the next step with his turnovers and get that fixed. Once that is done I think he has a chance to be great and in turn the Bears will be great. seasonal QB ranks | http://www.advancedfootballanalytics.com/index.php/home/stats/offensive-players/quarterbacks WPA: 22nd WPA/G: 24th EPA: 20th EPA/P: 23rd AYPA: 27th
