  1. Brown continues his dominance! with a 1-2-3 top half of the 5th! with a K, and 2 GOs!
  2. hey i'm not being negative, that literally happened, i would've noted the 4 ip 0 bb 9 k but that was already stated
  3. was lucky to not be donged by Andujar (3B off CF wall)
  4. always funny to consider we have a 300/400/500 hitter in AAA that can deadlift a school bus who never gets a single mention as an actual prospect even in a painfully mediocre farm system
  5. "hey there's some guys in Iowa putting up pretty nice offensive numbers.." *Aaron Miles gets sent down and goes 1500 OPS for a month*
  6. this is ultimately his one identifiable skill, impressing people with MBA buzzwords
  7. there's so much pure, uncut mediocrity throughout the entire organization, top to bottom that it's very hard to dream up scenarios where something inspiring can happen in the foreseeable future has been this way for a while though tbh
  8. let's go live to wolf:
  9. "good underlying data" re Caissie *cites the most atrocious contact rate imaginable*
  10. well this lets me know to discount any encouraging offensive stats for Iowa players
  11. right, realistically he's probably somewhere between Nick Castellanos & JD Martinez and apparently some would take that over Elly de la Tatis Jr. or whatever behemoth Holliday is looking likely to be
  12. kinda interesting how Jordan Walker is #1 overall prospect in some publications primarily on the strength of having been 28% better than lg. average offensively at AA at 20yo but Caissie being 50% better than lg. average at AA at 20yo doesn't warrant much consideration as even top-100 (yes, i know this is not a perfectly summarized characterization)
  13. welp there goes the clubhouse
  14. also he's not getting anybody out in triple-A
  15. the Angels have a better record than us
  16. surely his day is done but great googly moogly
  17. Brown recorded 2 Ks in the 4th both on really ugly defensive check-swings
  18. 1) P.Crow-Armstrong 2) J.Wicks 3) M.Mervis 4) M.Amaya 5) B.Brown 6) A.Canario 7) K.Alcantara 8 ) C.Hernandez 9) C.Horton 10) O.Caissie
  19. Boog said he was just 6th lefty (instance?) to hit 110+ MPH off LHP this year so already pretty hard to think bat speed is a legit flaw
