    Not allowed. I agree. 2nd favorite teams are crap. You can enjoy watching a certain team play but you can't openly root for them unless it's the playoffs and your team is done. Well they are a distant 2nd. I'm going to the Cards\Sox game this year in Cardinal gear with a bunch of Sox fans. GO SOX! Well played.     Funny, as a Cards fan I'd have thought you'd put a higher premium on class. Have you seen the mullets at busch? Not in a long time, thankfully. I guess the Sox and Cards have at least that in common. That and we hate the Cubs and their fans. :wink:

    What else do the Cards have to offer beyond Reyes? They're farm system is even more shallow than ours is. We've got some arms and a few really good position prospects. Aside from Reyes and Wainright, all of them are a few years away, but guys like Chris Lambert, Mark McCormick, Colby Rasmus, Tyler Greene, Stuart Pomeranz could be considered potential star prospects. Unfortunately, any trade for Cabrera would almost certainly completely deplete our system which is just now starting to become respectable. The Cards have some interesting guys however they don't have the talent to get a guy like Cabrera.

    PECOTA is a tool to judge how a team looks going in to the season however things change (injuries, acquisitions, etc). Also there will be a certain amount of statistical variation (including luck) from players and teams from year to year. Basically what PECOTA is telling us is the Reds aren't as bad and the Cards are probably worse than most people think. Don't read too much in to the actual win\loss totals but it's certainly a guideline.
