  1. Miles is a worse version of Neifi. edit - hah, then he singles
  2. Good lord. The Cards had like a 99.9997% chance of scoring a run right there. The end is nigh.
  3. Now that Perez is gone I think Nova should be your most hated.
  4. CFan, noticed your picture of Rajah. Can you believe he didn't make the list of five Cardinals to be voted on as greatest ever? He was the best hitter in the history of the game. Maybe, it's tough. I have major man love for him.
  5. Lots and lots of runs are going to be scored in this game
  6. I was actually looking forward to hearing your case for Ryan Howard. ;) First full year, he's stronger than Atlas and putting up the numbers to show for it. Won the HR derby. Hell, I just like him a lot. Scary if he gets better. Philly has a scary team if they keep Burrell, get a pitcher, and can find players for the top of the lineup to put Rollins 6th or 7th. He's good...and I suspect will win at least one MVP before his career is over. This year, the numbers point to the 38-yr old in St. Louis. :) Not true, check out AP's little league pic: http://www.littleleague.org/series/2006divisions/llbb/teams/transatlantic/images/team.jpg
  7. I'd let their numbers speak for themselves. I don't penalize a player for having good/great teammates. I also don't reward them either. I think Pujols should win the award right now because overall, he has the best numbers. If I had looked at those and saw that Beltran or Wright had the better numbers, then I'd have come to the conclusion that one of them should receive the award, their teammates notwithstanding. Agreed, besides: Rolen's VORP: 37.1 Wright's VORP: 34.5
  8. Is NSBB saying they'd rather have Veal or Gallagher? Considering age, production, position and tools Pie is the clear winner.
  9. I think the Cards will either pick up his option or restructure his contract. I seriously doubt Edmonds will be on the market.
  10. Let me ask you a question..do you see the Cardinals making a move to re-sign Belliard this offseason? Yes, the plan is to re-sign Belliard. We'll see how that works out.
  11. Has it been confirmed that the Tigers are picking up all of Neifi's contract next year? Did he pass through waviers?
  12. After making that out it's pretty clear Theriot doesn't deserve playing time.
  13. Meh, he might be a decent platoon against lefties. Link
  14. haters Since when do Cub fans bring good karma?
  15. Derwood, thank you for setting up the tourney. It was a lot of fun.
  16. Reason number 290820482098 why Dusty should be fired. Prior was #3 on BP's Pitcher Abuse Points last year though even though he had a short season. Link
  17. even the Nelson Twins?? What about Take That or Hanson? anyone How about ?
  18. The Beatles are starting to pull away (31-22). For some reason I thought this would be closer.
  19. Tough call but I took The Who.
  20. What's the best news for the Cubs in the past year? Z fired Boras.
  21. We are the champions No time for losers Cause we are the champions...
  22. Make that a 1 vote lead. Sorry wolf and CFIC, Pink Floyd is better. I don't even know who you are anymore.
