Consistently replacing young, cheap, decent (or good) bullpen arms with older, expensive, mediocre (or bad) ones. One of this organizations more confounding philosophies. Sadly, the ripple effect that these decisions have made can never be quantified. What moves could have been made with the money and players used? Allocating this team's massive budget properly would result in easy playoff appearances nearly every year. I don't understand how someone in the organization doesn't see that.
