  1. I am genuinely curious as to what the endgame is here...
  2. Holy [expletive]! How did I not notice that in real time? I didn't either, and neither did anyone on the Bulls bench. I noticed and posted about it. #humblebrag
  3. This is what happens when young teams go on the road in must win games
  4. Two straight horrible plays by Rose
  5. You really think so? I know the free throw differential is bad, but outside of that last charge on Noah, I don't it's been all that bad. They just go into the lane much more than we do. It's a whole different discussion about why the NBA would be pushing for the team that 90% of the country wants to lose. I think it's little things and not so much a completely out of whack FT discrepancy. It's more than Crawford and Salvatore are pretty easily swayed by a home crowd. Yeah I guess I can understand the home crowd factor. But other than that, I don't think it's surprising that they get more free throws than us. Maybe not this many, but their personnel is going to lead to it. I thought the flagrant was absurd, I think they consistently blow continuation calls, loose ball fouls, etc. I don't think it's a fix, a la SAC/LA, but these guys suck at their jobs.

  7. This isn't quite Sacramento/LA Game 6, but it's getting there.
  8. ostrich Mr. Conductor from Dinosaur Train
  9. Stop trolling the Thunder thread
  10. I don't know if I see anything more than you, I just have no interest in Robbie Rogers. Plus, he's been on great form for his club.' I miss Holden. Oh, Rogers suuuuuuuuuuuucks. I cannot stand watching him play. A waste of talent. I can think of like 4 MLS wingers I'd rather see than him, and I'd even say Convey should be there, too. Bradley hates Convey, though. Hopefully Holden works a competition in around his next injury. I hope he's not the next John O'Brien.
  11. If we were going to take one of the Nordic-based players, I would have preferred Mix. Bedoya just doesn't do it for me. What do you see there that I don't? Genuinely curious, as I can only recall him being decent in the 2nd half against Holland. EDIT: There's some folks saying that Chandler's club pressured him to decline the callup.
  12. None. I think the Fed is a lot better about stuff like this.
  13. Supposedly the story with Chandler is that this was his first full top flight season and he was worn down and requested off the roster. I kinda buy it. Rogers completely sucks. I don't like Bedoya at all, but Rogers is truly useless at this level. I like the Adu inclusion as he's played well for Rizespor and it's good to keep him in the setup as a guy you can toss on if you need offense. Wondo over Teal I hate. I get the Davies omission as he picked up an injury recently, but Wondo isn't any damn good. We're going to see Clint pushed up...a lot.
  14. This is pretty awful officiating.
  15. When they went up 2-1 I couldn't believe it, but that own goal...guh. Feel gutted for that guy. Also feel bad for the Tangerine who had the chance within 30 seconds and put his shot like 7 yards wide.
  16. And Barea was nearly perfect. Though on the flip side, Durant did have 40 points on 18 FGA's, plus 8 boards and 5 assists. For the longest time I thought this was the only reason Barea was even on the team. http://goodbyemailbox.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/dipmyballsinit.jpg
  17. No way Kljestan is ready for Serie A (having watched him this season with Anderlecht) If Roma sign Sacha I'll change my sig to a picture of me in a dress.
  18. As far as my perception of Serie A is concerned, Bradley makes more sense than Donovan. No doubt. That's his style. Landon is ridiculously overpriced too. I think it's an American owner who wants to make a splash in the American market, doesn't make a ton of sense on the pitch for more than a year or two. Don't get me wrong, MLS is rough and Landon is a very smart, tactical player. He'd fit. He's just overpriced. Mikey is a much better fit for Roma short and long term. He might even have a Euro passport, or be close enough to one to have that matter. Remember that Serie A has a limit on non-Euro players you can have. Mikey's cheaper, too. I don't think MLS sell Landon in the summer window anyway. FWIW, I think Clint is a better buy if they wanted an immediate impact player that was American.
  19. Or maybe we just need to consider what really happened after 2009. I know there were injuries last season, but I still find it suspicious when someone suddenly drops from a consistent .900+ OPS to the low .700's in what should be the prime of his career. Yeah, his destroyed shoulder was an elaborate front. Not to mention that age 32 is hardly the prime of a player's career. It's gonna be pathetic when people look back and bitch about Aramis after he's gone when he's been, by rights, the best offensive player on the team in the last 7 years. DAMN HIM FOR GETTING OLD AND HAVING A WRECKED ARM

  21. Somewhere, Stacey King just passed out
