WTF. Orozco-Fiscal has no business on this roster. Larentowicz has no business on this roster. Ream has no business being their over John and Gonzalez, both of whom have other options regarding senior NT status. Beasley being the best winger in the Primera is like killing it in the PCL...it's a defensive-allergic league. I don't like him being there, and I for sure think Diskerud needs to be here, Olympic-qualifying statements by Klinsmann be damned. This does nothing to cure my growing suspicion that he has no idea about our player pool. This is the best time to cast a wide net and bring some new blood in, and we're pissing it away over mediocrities.

That [expletive] was "force out at 2nd" all the way. No way they turn two. Cabrera wasn't that fat yet Yeah. It would have been one hell of a turn for them to get that. People act like it was a hard hit ball that Gonzalez would have fielded close to second for an easy flip when it was anything but. If they get the one out and everything else plays out the same (which wouldn't necessarily have been the case, I know), the inning likely ends either 3-2 or 3-3, depending on if you think Cabrera scores on the Lee double. Lowell still gets the IBB which brings up Conine. Grudz and his noodle-assed arm weren't throwing out modern-day fat, drunken awesome Miggy, let alone rookie, fit, athletic Miggy. Baker probably still would have let Prior pitch himself out of a win anyway.

Well, he DID act like a raging idiot. he's supposed to just giggle about the fact that some idiot knocked the ball away? i mean, say that you don't blame bartman all you want, but alou has every right to react. he shouted for like 3 seconds and then ran back to position. i think people let their opinions of alou cloud their judgment on this one. He's about 4th in line for blame, but he acted like a jackass and didn't help matters.

After his or Wood's homer, I don't remember which one, me and my friend were making plans for game 1 of the World Series. I had that link to mlb.com saved until they took it down. i used to watch Wood's homer over and over in disbelief. I cannot believe we didn't win.
