You're overreacting. Is he or is he not worthless right now? He brings NOTHING. It's you. He attracts a [expletive] ton of attention every time he has time on the puck, which isnt often, since defenses are being set up to prevent him from carrying the puck into the zone with anything like momentum. And he's still creating opportunities, albeit at a lower rate than in the regular season and the Wild series. Direct your ire at Hossa or Sharp or Toews, or all of them, or none of them. Detroit and now LA have set themselves up to first stop the Hawks, then play their game. The secondary players like Stalberg and Saad are finding out that the postseason doesn't F around and have done nothing in 2 months.

I think that cavalcade of stupid to start the game woke them up. Kane was skating harder there on those two carries into the zone that at any other time in the last 3 weeks, about.

So to sum that up: Non-Union Mexican Equivalent Defender stupidly steps up and hits someone to prove "intensity" or something dumb instead of maintaining defense shape, causing Patrick Kane to essentially be a defenseman there, as opposed to being higher up ice to theoretically provide pressure on that point guy, and as a result Russian McRussian ends up with 5 seconds and 50 feet of space with which to shoot. Awesome.
