If the Cubs were stealing signs, it did them a heck of a lot of good in that inning. Did Hawk say that? He won't stop saying it. "ah gee, just everyone all over the 1st pitch, like they know whats comin" :lol: I'm not even close to being a big league baseball player or anything within an organization and I'm pretty confident that Buehrle is going to throw something over the plate on the first pitch. THAT'S HIS SCOUTING REPORT. Throws strikes, so it's a good idea to go out there swinging. Also, when Buerhle's control is a little off (which it was) his mid-high 80's fastball is very hittable

Abreu/Lee/Gomes with a Jones/Murton platoon would give this club quite the offense. Then just get some cheap options for 2B and CF that have good OBP and hit them 1-2 and you got yourself a good offense.
