    Why is it that i don't agree with many of these predictions? And, i actually stopped reading this after the 7th one.

    Yeah, but it's really a moot point until the new owner is announced and we see what kind of spending will be done and moves will be made. I REALLY hope Hendry can sell high on Theriot this winter, I don't think he'll match his numbers in 2009. I'm sure it won't happen though. If Dempster gets the money I think he will, I'll be happy he's gone. Also, you have Gaudin, Shark, and possibly Hill around to take Dempster's spot. Not great really, but thats only if we don't acquire another. I agree with selling high on Theriot. I can't wait for the new owner to be announced.

    Or, it's 1-0 Cubs going into the 9th. Harden still pitching and walks the bases loaded with 1 out. gets Russel Martin to pop out, and that's when Manny Ramirez comes to the plate. Now i want everyone else to continue what they think will happen... I don't want to continue what will happen after that, because, it could either be Uncle Lou makes his slow walk out to the mound to take Harden out and bring in Howry who than gives up a grand slam... ](*,)

    Yeah, i'd rather put Pie in center and let him start also. But, just curious, who is that "power hitting right fielder that we should and could get?

    I think game 4 is a lot more key than tomorrow. Tomorrow, the matchup is so favorable that we had better win. Obviously, if we lose, there's no game 4, but I think game 4 will require a bit more fingers crossing than tomorrow's. After watching the way Kuroda has owned the cubs this year, and the way Harden has struggled with his control at times. I don't know how this matchup is "so favorable"? Yet, i also think the Cubs win tommorow, but it won't be easy.

    my second favorite team better beat one of my most hated teams, GO RAYS! nothing could be worse than the cubs getting kicked out of the playoffs and the sox advancing (well maybe something could be worse but still).

    sadly, in hoping the opposite would happen i predicted the cubs to lose these last 2 games. It helped in a sense that i don't feel as dissapointed, but, this game it's going to be different!.. I know we will win this game! Kuroda, he may have allowed only 1 run to us in 15.2 innings this year, but i will go out of my way and say we will end his night early and win the game along with the next game to bring this series back to wrigley! I know we will! i am positive! (i hate being optimistic but thats all i have right now) LETS GO CUBS! GET US A WIN! ONE GAME AT A TIME!

    I agree 100 percent. This has been a really fun season, with many ups and downs (a ton of ups though). I also want to hate this team and just throw it under a bus, but, i just can't. Why? Why is it that i can't get my self to forget about this team? Why is it that they make you want to cry or say explode on something? It's tough to be a fan of any team in a sport, especially a sport whose playoffs are all about the right team at the right time. I just want to stay positive and stay calm and cool about this team and this year (i know i'll be from a low number of cubs fans who think that). But hey why go down on yourselves when theres nothing you can do about it. I hate saying what i just said, it makes noo sense to me, but it's just how i and a small number of cubs fans feel.
