    Yeah, the prime-time special was stupid, but his decision probably wasn't. If he wanted to ever be considered one of the greats it was. He's never going to be respected by his peers. Who gives a [expletive]? He's the best player in the game and everybody knows it, he's going to get paid, and this gives him a great chance to get some rings. He'll always be considered one of the greats.

    Based on this 1 game alone, I'd like to see Marlon Byrd as a Cub forever joining Ted Lilly and Jim Edmonds. However, it's silly to hold on to him when his value is probably at its highest and the team is going nowhere. They should definitely unload him if the price is right.

    Oh, well if you are a sure that is probably true, then it must be. Baseball players are uneducated goons. They don't really know much at all. Seriously, most of them are dumb as [expletive]. Imagine the dumbest person you've ever worked with. S/he is likely quite a bit smarter than your average professional athlete. There is little to no evidence of people not wanting to play for the Cubs because they play day games. They have had a wonderfully long history of constructing really bad teams.
