    No. The guy was an amazingly gifted hitter with a flawless approach at the plate, but my guess is he would not be able to teach what made him so great to others. On the other hand, if you've got a solid hitting coach situation in the minors and don't really need a guy in the majors to reteach guys how to hit, it couldn't hurt to have a guy with that flawless approach influencing players to be a little more patient. That and he's a dick.

    I'm a little late to the party, but was the lack of a challenge discussed by Lovie? I am flabbergasted how you can not challenge that after foolishly challenging the play before.

    I'm excited to see what they and Durant can do this season. It's still hard to believe that Durant just turned 22 less than a month ago. Hell Demarco Murray is older than him ;-). I'm pretty sure DeMarco Murray is older than me.

    Looking back, the only hit I think should have been flagged and fined is Meriweather's. Robinson's didn't look like he led with his helmet, and Harrison tried blasting the dude with his forearms while the receiver was going down to make the catch.

    I finally got around to looking up some stats for the season. Who the hell is Scott Maine? He had some decent numbers in limited appearances.
