There's something going on that we don't know about yet. They all tested negative for illegal drugs, but nobody has said anything about supplements or their weekend activities before Monday's workout (my guess is a lot of alcohol was consumed). They've been doing this exact same workout for years without any issues at all.

He hits him lower? Is this a trick question? Well hitting him too low is also a penalty. He's also in a throwing motion and you'd like to be able to disrupt that as you make the tackle. Maybe you hit him as fast but you also let him have a clean throwing window. That's taking away from the defender. The idea that you can safen the game by cleaning up dirty hits only and not by taking away a defender's chance to make the play in the fastest possible way in certain cases is a complete fiction. It's a sport played with forward body lean by both defenders and offensive players and it's inevitable that helmet to helmet plays occur when all a defender is trying to do is make a play in the shortest amount of time. I'm not disputing at all that it's a flag by the book. There's quite a large gap between the knee caps and head. I'm by no means suggesting there was any malice, but he hit him way too high. I'm sure even Peppers knows that.

I've been a Cubs fan my whole life because it was the one thing I could always have in common with my father and both grandfathers. I became a Bulls "fan" when they drafted BJ Armstrong. I didn't care about the NBA before that, and I stopped caring when they let him go. I sometimes watch some playoff games, but that's about it these days. I have no idea why or how I became a Falcons fan considering they always sucked when I was young and never on TV. My dad is a big Bears fan, and my mother likes the Vikings so I was taught at a very early age to hate the Packers.

I believe all Rivers had done was some cartilage removed. The last time I did that, I was in a bar 2 days later and back to 100% in about 2-3 weeks.

So now we have reached the point on this board that when someone doesn't agree with your point it is now free game to call them "meatballs" or some other insult? Now? That point was reached long ago. This place would be great with some effective moderators that weren't afraid to put the handful of 10,000+ post bullies in their place. This place would absolutely go to hell if people weren't allowed to put the "Aramis should bunt so the [expletive] players feel better about themselves" crowd in their place So it's not just guys with 10,000+ posts. Weird...

any word on how this visit went? ...believe he is visiting AU this weekend. I still think he probably signs with Alabama since his brother plays there, but that's not a given at this point.. I haven't seen any real news on him, but Darian Cooper was in town with him and found this. He'd be a pretty good get too.
