  1. Well, a season-ending injury didn't hurt Sam Bradford's draft stock and Luck is a better prospect. What if he loses a limb?
  2. I believe the CBA expires 3/3.
  3. I think the rules are pretty clear cut. There is one scenario I thought about where it can cause confusion though: Say Aaron Rodgers throws an INT to Brian Dawkins in the first possession of OT. Dawkins tries to return it but then fumbles and the Packers recover. The Packers eventually kick a FG. Is the game over? I'm pretty sure, yes. It may not happen at all, but an onside kick to begin OT may cause confusion as well. I heard if a team opens OT by recovering its own onside kick, a FG can win the game because the other team had an opportunity to take possession. It might be beneficial to try an onside kick. If they kick a field goal you still get the ball but if you recover it than you can go win the game than. You're also making it a whole lot easier for a TD to be scored against you.
  4. was he crying when he did?
  5. I'd look to trade that #1 now, but the haul's probably a whole lot smaller without Luck.
  6. Yeah, this is the thread I meant to check before I posted the link about Luck.
  7. So Luck's staying put. Seems strange to me, but whatever... http://thebiglead.com/index.php/2011/01/06/andrew-luck-is-staying-at-stanford-and-not-going-to-the-nfl-sorry-carolina/
  8. Just because idiot fans are clamoring for a "Michigan man" doesn't mean they're not looking elsewhere. They're trying to make a splash, and I don't think they care where he comes from as long as the name is big enough.
  9. LOL, seriously? Am I the only one who thinks Jared Sullinger is gonna struggle big time in the NBA? I just don't think he has the type of explosiveness to be a great pro. I don't know about "big time", but I thought he looked a little slow.
  10. Tom Brady was a Michigan man. Offer him the job.
  11. Does anybody except NBC do player introductions like that?
  12. Why? Because it's freaking annoying. What's the point of it? Unity! Togetherness! Camaraderie! Simply saying the name of the school isn't enough huh? What if "the" is part of the school name?
  13. There's always med school
  14. They have a great shot at getting Luck next year if something crazy happens and he stays in college.
  15. sorry, I'm bored
  16. hopefully because Paterno is letting him win the job back this spring I wish we had a poster here who would come up with a silly back-and-forth regarding the parties involved under the premise that Paterno had no idea what the release meant.
  17. Bolden's request for release denied http://www.postgazette.com/pg/11004/1115504-100.stm
  18. Chryst to Austin?: http://thesportsjury.com/20110104837/cfb/source-paul-chryst-to-accept-texas-oc-job
  19. They've already should've won the Super Bowl.
  20. it's not just college players
  21. took me a few minutes to figure out where Del Rio was without using google
  22. I'll take all of the road teams except Green Bay.
  23. I was going to say the same thing.
