  1. Surprisingly
  2. Don't forget that brutal touchback call. Saints should have started on their own 1 for that last drive. It was the right call -- your momentum can't take you into the EZ. (Per Mike Perreia). Anybody who whined about that call should have their football fan card revoked. It's not a pass reception in college where you just have to get one foot down. He went into the endzone. I was surprised that Al Michaels didn't immediately know that. Collinsworth I can see, but Michaels is a pretty bright guy.
  3. Tim's so rich he crashes planes.
  4. * buffer before the davearm post that says you are wrong about what scouts do *
  5. maybe we now know Fleita's user name Fleita picked a dumb one.
  6. You should crunch some numbers before you take this idea to the commish.
  7. It's still 2011.
  8. They're a good ag school?
  9. I once saw him get beat up in a bar (owned by Michigan grads) for relentlessly arguing (with a Michigan fan) that Michigan was terrible, overrated, yada yada because they only beat Iowa by 4 in Michigan. Well, the year was 1997, and Iowa was ranked top 15 at the time so it wasn't that out of line that it would be a close game.
  10. I laughed a lot harder than I probably should have.
  11. My bad, sorry about that. Look at this one dude's ballot: http://thegazette.com/2011/09/06/my-ap-top-25-ballot-1-lsu/ He has South Florida #5, Northwestern #14, Maryland #19, Houston #23, Michigan #24, Oregon #25. Mike Hlas has always been a special kind of idiot.
  12. Pedro in 1999 followed by Pedro in 2000.
  13. Green Bay Atlanta Houston Kansas City Jacksonville Cleveland Philadelphia Pittsburgh Detroit San Diego New York Giants Arizona San Francisco New York Jets New England Oakland
  14. According to Pat Hughes, the ball was hit to the hole between short and third, Castro made a good play, but the throw was late (Harrison is fast). Barney hustled toward first to back up the play in case the throw got away (it didn't), so no one was in position to cover second. Harrison saw that and took the base. Barney needs to get his head out of his butt there.
  15. Don't you get like 12 just for spelling your name right?
  16. Nuh uh. Name one.
  17. I would have sworn Charles Tillman was pushing 50. It seems like he's been in the league for decades.
  18. There is no deadline for trades. Guys traded after today won't be eligible for post-season rosters, but they can still be moved.
