  1. Nice job. Jerome with the sac while Murton was running.
  2. Murton was almost picked off. Jerome doesnt look like he's very comfy with the bat.
  3. LOL, really? If that happened I dont know where they were looking.
  4. Jr hits a sac fly Murton has a decent arm.
  5. Is this like when Rod Beck used to come into the game and the only way he could do well is if I yelled at the screen how much of a fat sweaty loser he was :?: A fat sweaty loser closer? That could be any number of Cubs greats. Let's see, Mel Rojas, Antonio Alfonseca.... Joe Borowski... It's fair to say that Dempster bucks the trend.
  6. Yeah but the Rockies, Diamondbacks, Giants and Astros dont impress me.
  7. I agree that he's probably worth a look in the NL but the idea that a team has to give up a prospect to get him is silly unless the team makes a deal with the White Sox before he becomes a FA in 10 days. At this point, teams have to pay the remainder of his contract plus the Sox will ask for something in return. In 10 days, he can be yours at a bargin basement price. I'm pretty sure in 10 days he gets sent to AAA if he isn't dealt. Obviously you want him as cheap as possible in cash and players. No, if there are no takers, in 10 days he gets to decide if he will accept a minor league assignment or become a free agent and find his own gig (like Joe Borowski).

  9. FYI, Trenidad was released by the Cubs when Corey and Jason went down. http://www.iowacubs.com/aspx/transactions.aspx
  10. No team has to give the Sox anything (and probably won't) because they just need to wait 10 days for him to become a free agent. Afterwards, any team can sign him for the league minimum.
  11. I just heard on the Score that the White Sox designated "Mr Zero" for assignment. This on the heels of rumors earlier today that the Diamondbacks were interested in him... What a bust!
  12. I've worn mine all season...
  13. That run increased Ohman's ERA from 2.11 to 2.53
  14. Mitre getting hit hard. Bobby Hill with an RBI single. Wil Ohman loves this
  15. I hate it when Aramis doesn't run down the line.
  16. The brooms are out in STL. Houston just lost 3-0
  17. Naw, the game is gettin close to being out of hand. I would like for some relievers to get some work in. That's what he was saying. He said to take Z out and getting some relievers some work. Well, looks like that Dusty disagree with that logic. He's letting Zambrano bat. I think they want him to pitch another inning. He hasn't pitched in 8 or 9 days because of the Break
  18. Neifi hits a double down the line Grabow sucks
