    In Hanie's defense, if Barber isn't brain dead and lines up right, he has a TD there and if Roy doesn't have stone hands (again) he's probably got another one there. Not nearly as awful as his line is going to look, but still not good. This effing sucks.

    This Murray kid is solid, but I don't think he has an NFL arm. He's had a couple deep balls that just haven't gotten there.

    I think the thing I'm most impressed with is Paul's greatly improved ball handling. Also, Maniscalco really is pretty impressive. Although I think he'll struggle against bigger, quicker guys in conference play.

    Meyers Leonard is better than just about any big man Illinois has ever had right now. Other teams should fear him staying another year. I fear he's gone after this year. He's just so athletic and skilled.

    Why not? Baker plays all the same positions and hits lefties better. DeWitt has reverse splits if I recall, so I'd do this in a heartbeat if that's all it takes. I'd still rather have Headley.

    So does a guy count as on their minor league reserve list as soon as he's traded? If you could add him from another team's minor league list, you could do it. But I suppose that's probably not an option.
