According to ESPN's stats, there are 100 pitchers who have thrown more than 140 innings this year. Trachsel's K/BB ratio is dead last, and it's not even close. He is the only pitcher who has walked more batters than he's struck out. Not surprisingly, his K/9 ratio is dead last. His WHIP is the 7th-worst out 100. -

Among all players with at least 140 IP, only 9 pitchers have higher WHIPs than Trachsel. Great choice, Jim and Lou.

how has trashsel won any games, ever I'm playing for the championship in a head-to-head fantasy league. My opponent inexplicably started Trachsel today. How am I supposed to feel?

Cabrera's career OPS against Trachsel is more than 1.800 I believe. I think most hitters are hitting around that off Trashy. To be fair, hitters are only hitting .809 against Trachs this year. That's about 30 points higher than Matt Murton. Trachsel turns everybody into Matt Murton. Or better.

Proving that the nlcentral is the suckfest we all knew it would be. He who sucks least wins. .... wins the right to ge tswetp out of octorber. We seem to at least challenge decent teams so we might lose in 4 The Cards sucked and backed into October and you know what happened. The White Sox backed into October in 2005 and we saw how that turned out. Plus, we generally play well against good teams. It's suckfests like the Marlins that give us trouble. It's suckfests like Marquis and Trachsel that give us trouble.

Miller has been better than Estrada this year, so this is a bad thing.
