  1. Indians clearly don't realize that Lilly is a better hitter than Blanco.
  2. Current headline on mlb.com: "Cubs can't dig out of early hole vs. Tribe" Someone fell asleep.
  3. This team still can't touch the 2006 Cubs.
  4. I forgot Aaron Miles was on the team last year.
  5. I just flipped over to MLB Network and saw that....LOL. Wow. Stupid Mets giving the Cobs new ideas on how to lose games. :hello: Not that the Cobs need new ways to lose games, but wa happened? 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. Mets up 1 run. Yankees had runner at 1st and 3rd. Easy popup in shallow right field. 2nd baseman Castillo goes back to make the easy catch but clanks it. Tex was the runner on 1st and he came all the way around to score the winning run. Memorable, but not as epic as losing a game when two runs score on a sac fly.
  6. He's no Aaron Miles.
  7. He will be, he is being prepped for the MLB job and its his once Lou is gone. Based on the comments he's made, I sincerely hope not. I may give up on the Cubs entirely if Sandberg becomes manager.
  8. Why not? Lilly is a better hitter than Blanco.
  9. The season officially ended before it started. This offseason rivals the one pre-2006.
  10. I agree with everyone you mentioned but Heilman. He's actually had SOME success this season. According to WXRL, he's been the worst pitcher on the team.
  11. If Neal Cotts were to pitch to Aaron Miles, what would happen?
  12. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=8741057803&topic=6344 Best fans in baseball.
  13. I really wish Miles would have taken a plane back to St. Louis. I don't blame Aaron at all. Jim's the ftard that signed him. I still can't figure out this offseason. It's like the good Jim Hendry vanished and we were left with the architect of the 2006 team again. Did Hendry make a good move this offseason?
  14. I really wish Miles would have taken a plane back to St. Louis.
  15. doesn't matter, it hit him Incorrect. Swing = no hbp.
  16. That's what I was thinking. In the replay, it looked to me like he was actually trying to put the bat on the ball.
  17. Shouldn't that be a strike? Eckstein never pulled the bat back.
  18. Yes, I'm pretty sure he has. Wasn't he hot on the Prior is still effed up trail even when everybody insisted he was going to be fine? Yes.
  19. I think we'll see more of Aaron Miles. He's very versatile. I've heard he can play every position. Signing him in the offseason looks like a prescient move now.
