  1. I don't like when people in the front row stand.
  2. this vh1 show looks good. A bunch of old virgins getting coached by some lame pick up artist.
  3. LOL at the hotdog eating kid's cellphone blowing up.
  4. Grown man in attendance waving a bobblehead around.
  5. I'd imagine the Cubs will light him up.
  6. Nice pitching by Lilly to end the threat quickly.
  7. You can't stop bat-to-bat updates since there's so many people who don't have gameday and need your updates. The title of this thread is 8/15 other games. This is an "other" game. Get off my nuts, thanks. Go to bed.

  9. Some people don't have gameday, deal with it. Who able to read this thread doesn't have access to gameday?
  10. What else do we have to do before the cubs game? I don't know about you, but I'm in the mood for baseball. I never tried to steer anyone away from watching this relevant game; I'm following it myself.
  11. Do we really need bat-to-bat updates? Runs scored updates, sure, pitch-by-pitch updates, not so much.
  12. It's not even raining. Since the game has yet to start, this delay is what the Cubs wanted.
  13. LOL, this translates to a guaranteed quality start against the Cubs I LOL'd at this. I'm kind of sick of the obligatory "automatic loss" response to a matchup against a bad pitcher. If we won against a bad pitcher, this would no longer be an issue. Do you really believe tonight's pitching matchup favors the Reds?
  14. I love Wrigley and want to see it stay, but I'm definitely in favor of a new field and draining system installed for a myriad of reasons.

  16. Did Carroll say that before or after Sheets's most recent bullpen session?
  17. http://www.madison.com/tct/sports/205602 This means he's going to miss the series with the Cubs later this month.
  18. Yeah, this pitching matchup heavily favors the Cubs, so I don't see how we can't win tonight. Lilly is the starting pitcher I'm most confident in.
  19. Yeah, with a rotation consisting of Marquis, Hill and Marshall, it's critical for the Cubs to win Zambrano's and Lilly's starts.
  20. I think there were other factors in this case, namely Ramirez's health and the fact that with the runners running on contact (2 outs) and a power hitter at bat, a double gives the Cubs the lead.
  21. I guess I was mistaken, but I always thought Jenks was a guy who would have a great initial impact (2-3 years) but would burn out quickly. I might still be right, but I never saw him as having the ability to record 41+ consecutive outs. That's ridiculous. Because I don't think he will have a lasting career, I would have traded him in July had I been Ken Williams.
  22. I'm usually positive, but I think we're going to lose this one.
  23. Do non-premium members have use of the ignore feature?
  24. IMO, a four run deficit is still a game. At 94 pitches through 5 innings, Piniella needs to let Z pitch at least one more inning.
